Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC) is the 6 most common cancer around the globe; its underlying molecular mechanisms and accurate molecular markers are still lacking. In this study, we explored hub genes and their potential signaling pathways through which these genes participate in the development of HNSC. The GSE23036 gene microarray dataset was attained from the GEO (Gene Expression Omnibus) database.

Objectives: Angiotensinogen (AGT), as a component of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS), is one of the major risk factors for cancer development. To date, there has not been a systematic pan-cancer analysis of AGT.
Methods: This pan-cancer study comprehensively investigated AGT in 24 different cancers based on the UALCAN, KM plotter, GENT2, HPA, MEXPRESS, cBioportal, STRING, TIMER, and CTD databases.

Aim: We aimed to evaluate the knowledge, attitude, and practices in the application of AI in the emergency setting among international acute care and emergency surgeons.
Methods: An online questionnaire composed of 30 multiple choice and open-ended questions was sent to the members of the World Society of Emergency Surgery between 29th May and 28th August 2021. The questionnaire was developed by a panel of 11 international experts and approved by the WSES steering committee.
