We newly report 25 provincial records of rove beetles (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) from the province of Quebec from the following subfamilies: Steninae (1), Euaesthetinae (1), Omaliinae (2), Oxyporinae (1), Paederinae (1), Proteininae (1), Pselaphinae (2), Scaphidiinae (2), Scydmaeninae (2), Staphylininae (11) and Tachyporinae (1). Among these, two species are also reported for the first time from Ontario, two from Nova Scotia, and five are new Canadian records. We also report the first supporting data for (Fabricius, 1792) and Erichson, 1840 for Quebec, and of Fauvel, 1878, (Fauvel, 1878), and (Erichson, 1839) for Ontario.

Both diseases may coexist, however, there are very few case reports of patients with both cardiac sarcoidosis and systemic sclerosis in the literature. We report the case of a 72-year-old female who was initially referred for dyspnea.

Validation of the French version of the Non-Arthritic Hip Score (NAHS) in 113 hip arthroscopy procedures.

Background: The Non-Arthritic Hip Score (NAHS) used to evaluate the hip in younger patients is a self-administered questionnaire with 20 items in four sections: pain, symptoms, function, and activities. Although used in France, no transcultural version had been validated. The objective of this study was to translate the NAHS into French then assess the validity, reliability, and sensitivity to change of the French-language version (NAHS-Fr) in younger patients with hip conditions other than osteoarthritis.

Methods and Results We conducted a planned secondary data analysis of a prospective cohort of 11 507 adults in 13 Canadian EDs between 2006 and 2018. Patients were eligible if they were aged 18 years or older, with a final diagnosis of TIA or minor stroke with previously documented or newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation.

Methods: We conducted a systematic search of MEDLINE, Scopus, Cochrane and other databases from database inception to October 2020 for reports of studies that used video recording to investigate ambulatory patient-clinician interactions. Two authors independently reviewed all studies for eligibility and extracted information related to study setting and purpose, participant recruitment and consent processes, data collection procedures, method of analysis, and participant sample characteristics.

Sex Differences and Utility of Treadmill Testing in Long-QT Syndrome.

Background Diagnosis of congenital long-QT syndrome (LQTS) is complicated by phenotypic ambiguity, with a frequent normal-to-borderline resting QT interval. A 3-step algorithm based on exercise response of the corrected QT interval (QTc) was previously developed to diagnose patients with LQTS and predict subtype. This study evaluated the 3-step algorithm in a population that is more representative of the general population with LQTS with milder phenotypes and establishes sex-specific cutoffs beyond the resting QTc.

With the increase in the importance of using green energy sources to meet the world's energy demands, attempts have been made to push perovskite solar cell technology toward industrialization all around the world. Improving the properties of perovskite materials as the heart of PSCs is one of the methods to fabricate favorable photovoltaic (PV) solar cells based on perovskites. Here, cadmium chloride (CdCl) was used as an additive source for the perovskite precursor to improve its PV properties.
