Recently, homozygous variants in were shown to cause a neurodevelopmental disorder (OMIM#618090) in four patients displaying developmental delay, epilepsy and nonspecific brain malformations including corpus callosum hypoplasia and variable impairment of cerebellum. We sought to delineate the molecular and phenotypic spectrum of -related disorder.

Dyskerin is a core-component of the telomerase holo-enzyme, which elongates telomeres. Telomerase is involved in endometrial epithelial cell proliferation. Most endometrial cancers (ECs) have high telomerase activity; however, dyskerin expression in human healthy endometrium or in endometrial pathologies has not been investigated yet.

The total contact cast (TCC) is considered the gold standard treatment to off-load diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs); however, the use of TCC can be limited due to various reasons such as underlying infections, ischemia, and patient's reluctance. Removable cast walkers are used in such cases, and the VACOped boot is one such device. The aim of this study was to analyze the results of the VACOped boot in the treatment of DFUs in real life.
