Background: Until now, the sex ratio in a population is believed to be relatively stable with no male/female preponderance. There has been an increasing amount of evidence to suggest that assisted conception may significantly impact on sex ratio (SR). Several factors have been suggested to affect SR such as parental variables (paternal race, maternal age, and body mass index-(BMI), methods of fertilisation (in-vitro fertilisation/intracytoplasmic sperm injection), stage of embryo transfer (cleavage/blastocyst), type of IVF cycle (fresh/cryopreserved), medications used for controlled ovarian stimulation, poor sperm motility, and even culture media.

Introduction: Hematologic inflammatory biomarkers derived from a full blood count (FBC) are elevated in Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM). In low- and middle-income countries like Nigeria, a FBC is an affordable and easily available test, even in rural areas. Purpose: Managing patients' health information is one of the building blocks of the health system and the adoption of health information technologies like electronic health records (EHRs) is expected to reduce the various challenges in keeping and accessing quality health-care data that aid decision-making among medical practitioners. This study aims to investigate how leadership styles and change management affected the job performance of health information management practitioners on their adoption of EHRs in tertiary hospitals in Nigeria.
Design/methodology/approach: The study used primary data collected using a Likert scale questionnaire from 117 health information management officers and health information technicians in selected tertiary hospitals in South-Eastern Nigeria.

We analyzed data collected from 15 outpatient cancer clinics, comprising 1,097 patients between April to July 2020. Study outcome was ten psychological impacts, including feeling down, stressed, and unable to access treatment due to COVID-19 (used as continuous and categorical variable (0-3,4-7,8+ events).

Prcis: Patients' acceptance of glaucoma therapy was high overall in this study, but lower for surgery than for laser or medical therapy. Fear and cost were the leading reasons why patients declined recommended therapy and they were treatment-specific. Cost was the primary reason for declining medical and laser therapy, while fear was the most common reason for declining surgical therapy.
