Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody and Its Association with Duodenal Biopsy in Diagnosis of Pediatric Celiac Disease.

Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate a possible association between the anti-tissue transglutaminase antibody (anti-tTG) titer and stage of duodenal mucosal damage and assess a possible cut-off value of anti-tTG at which celiac disease (CD) may be diagnosed in children in conjunction with clinical judgment.

Methods: This observational study was conducted at a gastroenterology clinic in a tertiary hospital from April 2012 to May 2013. Seventy children between 6-months and 18-years-old with suspected CD underwent celiac serology and duodenal biopsy.

Objective: To study the factors associated with the subsequent (over next 9 years) full-text publication of papers presented at the 44th National Conference of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (PEDICON), 2007.

Methods: All papers presented at PEDICON 2007 were searched for subsequent full-text publication over the next 9 years in English-language journals by an internet-based search. The published papers were compared with the conference-abstracts.

Asbestos-induced lung disease in small-scale clutch manufacturing workers.

Characterization of key transcription factors as molecular signatures of HPV-positive and HPV-negative oral cancers.

Prior studies established constitutively active AP-1, NF-κB, and STAT3 signaling in oral cancer. Differential expression/activation of specific members of these transcription factors has been documented in HPV-positive oral lesions that respond better to therapy. We performed a comprehensive analysis of differentially expressed, transcriptionally active members of these pivotal signaling mediators to develop specific signatures of HPV-positive and HPV-negative oral lesions by immunohistochemical method that is applicable in low-resource settings.

Myoclonus-dystonia: An under-recognized entity - Report of 5 cases.

Congenital Pouch Colon associated with Pseudoexstrophy: Report of Two Cases.

Both patients had a type II congenital pouch colon (CPC) with one hemiuterus and vagina on each side in the pelvis.
