Unlabelled: Road crashes are the first cause of mortality for young adults aged 18-25 years and the human factor contributes to 90-95% of events. The present study was carried out to determine the efficacity of the ECARR2 recurrence prevention program among adolescents and young adults at high risk of having a new traffic crash in the following months. A total of 288 participants having had a traffic crash that required going to the emergency room, at high risk of accident recurrence (ECARR≥5) were randomly allocated to either the intervention group ( = 144) or the control group ( = 144).

Motor Skill Improvement Using Compressive Garments in a Child with Multidimensional Impairments and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

We report the case of an 8-year-old child with a complex neurodevelopmental disorder, including severe developmental coordination disorder with dysgraphia, anxiety and depression, mild social functioning impairments, headache and chronic musculoskeletal pain, secondary to Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (EDS) hypermobility type. We explored whether wearing whole-body compressive garments (CGs) could improve his motor skills assessed through standardized and experimental procedures. In addition to the effectiveness of CGs on pain, we found partial improvements in his motor skills, specifically postural control, hand movements, and body schema representation, after wearing CGs for 15 days.

Introduction: Cerebral metabolism in obsessive-compulsive-disorder(OCD) has been the subject of numerous studies using proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy(MRS). Despite heterogeneous results, some studies have unraveled membrane turnover and energy metabolism abnormalities in different brain regions, suggesting that alterations in these processes may contribute to the pathophysiology. So far, no authors have explored phospholipids and high-energy phosphate metabolism using P-MRS, which allows in vivo quantification of phosphorus metabolites that are considered to be related to membrane turnover and energy metabolism.
