This article describes the clinical presentation of central vestibular disease secondary to pituitary adenoma as it manifested in six rats. Prognosis is poor. Recommendations are made regarding questions to ask and advice to offer owners when dealing with cases.

Glomerulonephritis and anasarca in a colony of frogs.

A colony of frogs experienced excessive mortality due to glomerulonephritis. The presenting symptom in all cases was bloating due to hydrocoelom and anasarca. Mycobacteria sp was suspected to be a source of chronic antigenic stimulation that resulted in the glomerulonephritis.

Insulinoma in 2 guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus).

This paper describes an insulinoma in 2 guinea pigs (Cavia porcellus). Both guinea pigs presented with neurologic signs and low blood glucose readings. The neurologic signs resolved with dextrose administration.

Bile duct carcinoma and nasal adenocarcinoma in a guinea pig.

A guinea pig with a low grade bile duct carcinoma and nasal papillary adenocarcinoma also had a collagen nevus or lipoma that was considered insignificant in the overall management of the case. The bile duct carcinoma was treated successfully through surgery. The clinical presentation of the adenocarcinoma, which was not treated, is described.
