Organic semiconductor devices have a lower intrinsic carrier density than inorganic semiconductors, and improving their electrical conductivity is important for organic electronic devices. Further theoretical investigations and understanding the properties of these electronic devices are necessary to improve the electrical conductivity of organic devices. In this study, we demonstrate how two carbon-material-assisted organic semiconductor devices affect the electrical conductivity and charge mechanism by using electrical measurements (, - and - measurements, and numerical simulations).

Amitriptyline (AMI) has been used to treat neuropathic pain. However, the clinical outcomes remain unsatisfactory, presumably due to a limited understanding of the underlying molecular mechanisms. Here, we investigated a drug repositioning strategy using a low-dose of AMI encapsulated in poly (D, L lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles (AMI NPs) for neuropathic pain, since PLGA nanoparticles are known to enhance delivery to microglia.

Polymeric bio-composites synthesized a green approach using natural herbs have fascinating anticoagulant activity due to their eco-friendly and non-toxic behavior towards various physical and chemical actions. Herein, we introduce a simple and eco-friendly approach for the fabrication of a new hybrid type of bio-composite based on sulfated carboxymethyl cellulose (S-CMC) and leaf powder (S-CMC/NLP). First, a non-toxic sulfating agent called N(SONa) was used to modify carboxymethyl cellulose into S-CMC.

The development of environmentally friendly and efficient methods for the synthesis of ethylene carbonate (EC) is crucial for advancing carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies. Herein, we present the synthesis of EC through the transesterification of urea with ethylene glycol (EG) using a zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) derived Fe-doped ZnO catalyst (Fe;ZnO-ZIF). The Fe;ZnO-ZIF catalyst, prepared by incorporating Fe dopant atoms into a ZnO-ZIF template, demonstrates excellent catalytic activity, achieving high conversion of reactants and superior selectivity toward EC at 160 °C for 150 min under an applied vacuum (160 mmHg).

A highly selective and ultra-sensitive electrochemical sensing probe was proposed by combining sulfated-carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-S) and a functionalized-multiwalled carbon nanotube (f-MWNT) nano-composite with high conductivity and durability. The CMC-S/MWNT nanocomposite was impregnated on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to construct the non-enzymatic and mediator-free electrochemical sensing probe for trace detection of As(iii) ions. The fabricated CMC-S/MWNT nanocomposite was characterized by FTIR, SEM, TEM, and XPS.

An efficient electrochemical sensor containing polyaniline/cerium oxide (PANI/CeO) nanocomposites for the detection of hydrogen peroxide has been fabricated using the traditional oxidative polymerization process. PANI/CeO nanocomposite-based modified glassy carbon electrodes were utilized as an electrochemical sensor for the detection of hydrogen peroxide. Before the fabrication, CeO was prepared by a hydrothermal method, and common techniques confirmed its structure.

The efficiency and device lifetime of quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED) devices suffer from the charge imbalance issue resulting from excess electron injection from the ZnO electron transport layer (ETL) to the quantum dot (QD) emissive layer (EML). Herein we report 1,3-bis(9-phenyl-1,10-phenanthrolin-2-yl)benzene (BPPB) small molecule ETL blended ZnO as an interlayer in inverted red indium phosphide (InP) based QLEDs to slow down the ZnO ETL mobility. The device with ZnO : BPPB (15 wt%) shows 16.

Two bipolar host materials, 8-(9-carbazol-9-yl)-5-(pyridin-2-yl)-5-pyrido[3,2-]indole (CzCbPy) and 5-(6-(9-carbazol-9-yl)pyridin-2-yl)-8-(9-carbazol-9-yl)-5-pyrido[3,2-]indole (2CzCbPy), were synthesized for deep blue thermally activated delayed fluorescence organic light emitting diodes (TADF OLEDs). Both CzCbPy and 2CzCbPy hosts possess bipolar characteristic with high polarity, which results in high delayed photoluminescence quantum yields by reducing the energy gap between singlet and triplet states of TADF materials. In addition, these hosts have high enough triplet energies of 3.

A novel strategy for the synthesis of highly stable gold nanoparticles (GNPs) was designed by reducing HAuCl with NaBH in an aqueous solution of water-soluble ionic cellulose composed of dimethylimidazolium cations and phosphite-bound cellulose anions. NMR and UV-Vis analysis along with the measurement of the zeta potential suggest that the exceptionally high stability of GNPs originates from the strong interaction of GNPs with the phosphite groups of the ionic cellulose. The thus prepared GNPs exhibit excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol to 4-aminophenol, a model hydrogenation reaction.

Advancements in thin-film transistor (TFT) technology have extended to electronics that can withstand extreme bending or even folding. Although the use of ultrathin plastic substrates has achieved considerable advancement towards this end, free-standing ultrathin plastics inevitably suffer from mechanical instability and are very difficult to handle during TFT fabrication. Here, in addition to the use of a 1.
