Background: To report the first series of retinoblastoma (RB) cases that were managed locally in Kuwait by the retinoblastoma team that was established during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Results: Six cases with RB were included in this study. The ages ranged from 3 months to 2 years with a male to female ratio of 2:1.

Introduction: COVID-19 vaccines are essential to prevent complications and reduce the burden of SARS-CoV-2. However, these vaccines showed side effects such as fatigue, pain, fever, and rarely hearing loss. In this review, we aim to summarize studies investigating hearing loss following COVID-19 vaccination and try to find the possible association and risk factors for this hazardous complication.

The awareness of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) contributes to the complications and fatality rates from these diseases among individuals; however, no previous study in Syria was conducted on this topic; thus, this study aims to assess Syrians' awareness of CVDs warning symptoms and risk factors. This online cross-sectional study was performed in Syria between the 1st and 25th of August 2022. The inclusion criteria for the sample were citizens of Syria over 18 who currently reside in Syria.

Design: Data obtained from the National Center for Health Information and Ministry of Health Hospital digital records were reviewed retrospectively to identify patients with orofacial clefts (OFC) using the ICD-10 diagnostic codes. The Jonckheere-Terpstra test was used to assess the trend of birth prevalence across the different years.
