Background: This study investigated the mediating effects of self-efficacy and social support on the relationship between stress and burnout among infection control nurses (ICNs) during an emerging infectious disease pandemic.

Methods: The study participants encompassed 210 ICNs with at least six months' experience in an infection control unit at a general hospital in South Korea during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data were analyzed using independent t-tests or one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), while descriptive statistics were performed using SPSS/WIN 26.

Methods: The research participants were 180 nurses from general hospitals located in Korea. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires regarding perception, attitude, knowledge, and nursing practice on application of physical restraints and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression.

The main factor in the turnover of new nurses in Korea is burnout, and a high turnover rate can lead to discontinuation in the nursing profession, due to failure to adapt to the organization. The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed undergraduate education into non-face-to-face classes, and a novel methodology is required to aid students in career preparation behavior (CPB). This study aimed to assess the effects of self-rated abilities for health practices (SRAHP) as a psychological attribute and health-promoting lifestyle profile (HPLP) as a behavioral attribute in the dynamics between positive psychological capital (PPC) and CPB among undergraduate students taking non-face-to-face classes. In this non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized study, we assessed the effects of an education-counseling program for young prehypertensive adults. We included 40 and 47 prehypertensive individuals in the experimental and control groups, respectively. A structured questionnaire (pretest) was used to assess prehypertension-related knowledge, attitudes, health-promoting behavior, and self-efficacy.

Methods: This qualitative study adopted van Manen's hermeneutic phenomenological method. Study participants were 8 females whose husband had been diagnosed with HIV for longer than 6 months, who had known about their husband's infection for more than 6 months, who were in a legal or common-law marriage and were living with their husbands at the time of interview for this study, and whose HIV antibody test results were negative.

Aim And Objective: To identify effects of the huddling programme as a strategy for retention of clinical nurses.

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of intraoperative music listening on anxiety, the BIS index, and the vital signs of patients undergoing regional anesthesia in an operating room.

Methods: Eighty patients who were scheduled for a surgery that would use regional anesthesia were allocated to either the music therapy group listened to music using headphones for the entire surgery or no-treatment control group. Outcome measures were blood pressure (BP) and the BIS index.
