Department of Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, No. 112, Kunrui Road, Kunming, 650101, Yunnan, People's Republic of China.

Immature dendritic cells (imDCs) are activated and mature to initiate an adaptive immune response, resulting in allograft rejection and transplantation failure. Myeloid differentiation factor 88 (Myd88) is a key factor in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway. Here, we investigated the effect of Myd88 silencing on DC function and immune response.

Based on data analysis of 9649 Chinese primary NSCLC patients, we calculated the exact proportion of EGFR subtypes in NSCLC and evaluated the TMB level, PD-L1 expression level and tumor immune microenvironment among different EGFR mutation subtypes. Postoperative follow-up data for 98 patients were collected and analyzed. The results showed that several uncommon EGFR mutation subtypes have a higher proportion of TMB-high or strong positive PD-L1 expression than the total EGFR mutation group.

April 2021

China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences Beijing 100700,China.

This study steps through four key principles, four open problems and future perspectives of Chinese materia medica(CMM) ecological agriculture by presenting the historical development, existing theories and practice outcomes. Then, it focuses on refining the main principles of CMM ecological agriculture:(1)the principles of ecological niche associated with yield and comprehensive income;(2)principles of biological diversity associated with the integrated control of diseases, pests and weeds;(3)principles of adversity effects associated with the quality improvement of CMM;(4)principles of structural stability associated with the sustainable development of CMM ecological agriculture. On this basis, four burning issues of CMM ecological agriculture were obtained,(1)ecological planting mode and supporting technologies need to be perfect;(2)multi-integrated industrial coupling remains to strengthen;(3) quality assurance system of CMM ecological agriculture and high-quality and favorable price model remains to be formed;(4)awareness of the demonstration and extension of CMM ecological agriculture needs to be desired.

  • The study cloned the PnbHLH gene from Panax notoginseng, creating an overexpression vector to investigate its role in regulating saponin biosynthesis.
  • By combining PnbHLH overexpression with RNA interference (RNAi) of the PnCAS gene, researchers explored how this synergy affects the production of phytosterols and overall saponin levels in P. notoginseng cells.
  • Results indicated that PnbHLH not only interacted with promoters of key genes involved in saponin biosynthesis but also led to increased levels of total and specific monomeric saponins compared to wild-type cells, highlighting an effective regulatory approach.

The environmental and health impacts caused by arsenic (As) in wastewater make it necessary to carefully manage As wastes. In the present work, a composite of the ionic liquid [Hmim]SbF and nano-iron (H/Fe) was used as an adsorbent to remove As(v) from aqueous solution. To better understand the removal effect of H/Fe on As(v) in aqueous solution, the reaction parameters of pH, reaction temperature, time and H/Fe dosage were systematically analyzed in detail.

School of Materials and Energy, National Center for International Research on Photoelectric and Energy Materials, Yunnan Key Laboratory for Micro/Nano Materials & Technology, Yunnan University Kunming 650091 P. R. China +86-871-65032713 +86-871-65032713.

Graphitic carbon nitride, as a very promising two-dimensional structure host for single atom catalysts (SACs), has been studied extensively due to its significant confinement effects of single atoms for photocatalytic applications. In this work, a systematic investigation of g-CN confining noble metal single atoms (NM@g-CN) will be performed by using DFT calculations. The geometric structure calculations indicate that the most favorable anchored sites for the NM is located in the six-fold cavity, and the deformed wrinkle space of g-CN helps the NM to be stabilized in the six-fold cavity.
