To control the SO emission and achieve the target of "waste controlled by waste", a novel desulfurization method with blast furnace dust slurry was proposed. The effects of reaction temperature, oxygen concentration, and solid-liquid ratio on SO removal efficiency were investigated. The optimal conditions were reaction temperature of 35 ℃, oxygen concentration of 10 vol.

The aim of this study was to isolate and identify the peptides with calcium-binding capacity from the different tilapia skin gelatin enzymatic hydrolysates. The complex protease was selected and its hydrolysates were further separated using gel filtration chromatography (Sephadex G-25) and reverse phase high-performance liquid chromatography. Two purified peptides with strong calcium-binding capacity were identified as Tyr-Gly-Thr-Gly-Leu (YGTGL, 509.

The preservation effects of tartary buckwheat extract (T) and chitosan (C) coatings on the physicochemical (pH value, thiobarbituric acid value, Peroxide value (PV), total volatile basic nitrogen (TVB-N), K value, surface color and the texture profiles), bacteriological (total viable counts (TVC) and psychrotrophic bacteria counts (PBC)), and sensory characteristics of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) fillets storage at 0 °C for 18 days were evaluated. The fillets coated with 0.5% T + 1.

Eight wild edible Boletaceae mushrooms (227 samples) and their soils were collected from 40 locations, Yunnan province, China. Four essential metals (Fe, Mg, Zn, and Cu) and 2 toxic metals (Pb and Cd) were determined. The results showed that Boletaceae mushrooms have abundance of 4 essential metals.

A magnetic-solid-phase extraction method coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography and diode array detection has been developed for simultaneous determination of 3 estrogens in milk samples. In this work, Fe3O4 NPs were synthesized by a simple chemical co-precipitation reaction, and the surface of Fe3O4 was modified with cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB; designed as Fe3O4@CTAB). The synthesized Fe3O4@CTAB NPs were characterized by Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscope.

Unlabelled: A novel, simple and low cost through coating Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) with decanoic acid were synthesized. The functionalized MNPs showed excellent dispersibility in aqueous solution and were applied to dispersive micro-solid-phase extraction (D-μ-SPE) followed by high performance liquid chromatographic analysis for 4 phthalate esters (PAEs) including benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP), di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP), and di-n-octyl phthalate (DNOP) from liquor samples. The extraction equilibrium is achieved in 1 min.
