Radiologic findings of a case with scalp plexiform schwannoma-an unusual variant of the benign, solitary schwannoma in the skin-are reported. T2-weighted MR imaging exhibited the most specific features: a multinodular pattern and hypointense capsule that separated the tumor from surrounding soft tissue. A surgical specimen was histologically confirmed as schwannoma.
