Some women infected with (CT) are asymptomatic, while others experience lower abdominal discomfort when the inflammatory process extends to the fallopian tubes. Without treatment, salpingitis can progress to pelvic peritonitis and subsequently, peritonitis in the upper abdomen, a condition known as Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome, in some cases. A nucleic acid amplification assay is required for diagnosing CT infection.

Adenosarcomas are biphasic neoplasms that usually originate in the uterine corpus and comprise a benign epithelial component and a malignant stromal component. Uterine adenosarcomas typically present with abnormal genital bleeding, an enlarged uterus, and a tumor that protrudes into the endometrial cavity. These tumors rarely protrude through the cervical os and are often misdiagnosed as cervical polyps.

Most non-traumatic renal subcapsular hematomas are found in the presence of primary or metastatic renal tumors, or in the presence of vascular disease of the renal blood vessels. We managed an asymptomatic renal subcapsular hematoma that formed due to uterine cervical cancer that metastasized to the left common iliac lymph nodes. A 48-year-old woman with stage IB1 cervical cancer underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy and concurrent chemoradiation following a radical hysterectomy.

In the presence of the uterus, it is rare that vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VAIN) alone exists. We described our experience with a case in which VAIN3 was found in the vaginal fornix without lesions in the uterine cervix. She had cervical intraepithelial neoplasm (CIN) 1 several years ago.

We report a case in which a polypoid lesion with a diameter of 5 mm was diagnosed as a cervical polyp due to a negative Papanicolaou (Pap) smear in the cervix, and polypectomy revealed a diagnosis of villoglandular papillary adenocarcinoma (VGA) on histopathological examination. A 63-year-old woman with a cervical polyp, who had no abnormal symptoms and a negative Pap smear was referred to our hospital. We performed cervical polypectomy, and the pathological result was VGA with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 3.

Background: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has become popular as an alternative to laparoscopy-assisted colectomy (LAC) for early colorectal cancer.
Aim: To validate postoperative quality of life (QOL) based on subjective symptoms of patients from questionnaire survey.

Aim: Human papillomaviruses (HPV) infection is a primary cause of the development of cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer. However, the influence of other infections on intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) development has not been fully elucidated. We evaluated the association between co-infection and CIN development in subjects with atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASCUS).

Aim: We measured fibrin monomer complex (FMC) levels in all subjects who gave birth at our hospital and evaluated the feasibility of using FMC for screening for venous thromboembolism (VTE) in patients during late pregnancy and the post-partum period.
Methods: From August 2010 to January 2012, all women who gave birth at our hospital were included. FMC and D-dimer levels were determined during the late pregnancy and post-partum periods.

Purpose Of Investigation: We compared modified repeated intracyclic clomiphene citrate therapy (RICCT) to gonadotropin therapy to determine whether this modified regimen was an effective alternative after conventional clomiphene therapy.
Methods: Patients with ovulation disorder received treatment with modified RICCT and gonadotropin, and ovulation, pregnancy, total drug cost, and adverse effects were compared.
Results: Among a total of 16 patients, 14 successfully ovulated after modified RICCT and 11 ovulated after gonadotropin therapy; two did not respond to either therapy.

Purpose Of Investigation: When clomiphene citrate is ineffective in the treatment of anovulation, hMG administration is typically selected. However, high-dose hMG therapy is associated with a variety of adverse events. We describe the use of a modified clomiphene citrate regimen that was successful in increasing the effectiveness of ovulation induction.
