This study was conducted by the Turkish Oncology Group (TOG) with data collected from 32 centers. Our study was multicentric, and a total of 364 patients were included.

Background: In cleft palate repair, anatomically oriented, tension free, atraumatic total closure is the key to achieve a normal speech consecutive to a sufficient velopharyngeal closure and also to prevent postoperative fistula development. In this clinical study, we review our experience with acellular dermal matrix (ADM) which was used as an adjunct to facilitate difficult cleft palate and palatal fistula closure.
Methods: From October 2009 till December 2013, primary cleft palate and fistula repairs in which ADM was used were culled from the cleft surgery files.

Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the efficacy and safety of sedoanalgesia performed outside the operating room by pediatricians trained in advanced airway management and life support.
Materials And Methods: Midazolam and ketamine were administered consecutively by intravenous route under cardiorespiratory monitoring for painful procedures of pediatric hematology.
Results: A total of 115 patients had 237 sedoanalgesia sessions.

Serious neurological complications after neuraxial block, including permanent neurological injury, are rare in contemporary anesthetic practice. We report a case of a 36 year old female undergoing a venous stripping operation under combined spinal epidural anesthesia (CSE). The CSE procedure was completed after a second attempt at the L4-L5 level and the surgery was completed uneventfully.
