Purpose Of Review: Despite a high burden of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and HIV infection among IDUs and the advent of effective therapies, assessment and treatment remain limited. The current review focuses on the management of HCV and HIV among IDUs, focusing particularly on recent strategies to enhance assessment, uptake and response to HCV and HIV treatment.

Recent Findings: There are compelling data demonstrating that with the appropriate programs, treatment for HIV and HCV among IDUs is successful.

Background: This study aims to estimate the magnitude and changing trends of HIV, syphilis and HIV-syphilis co-infections among men who have sex with men (MSM) in China during 2003-2008 through a systematic review of published literature.

Methodology/principal Findings: Chinese and English literatures were searched for studies reporting HIV and syphilis prevalence among MSM from 2003 to 2008. The prevalence estimates were summarized and analysed by meta-analyses.

Background And Method: Multiple studies reported a fast-spreading human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) epidemic among men who have sex with men (MSM) in China. This study aimed to estimate the magnitude and time trends of HIV prevalence among MSM in different geographical regions of China through a systemic review and meta-analysis.

This study estimates the distribution of the number of male sexual partners among Chinese MSM through a comprehensive review of English and Chinese published literature. The overall median number of male sexual partners of Chinese MSM in the past 6 months China was estimated to be 1.
