Background And Aims: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) relies on computer science and large datasets, with the technology mimicking human intelligence as it makes logical decisions. This study aims to assess the perceptions and experiences of anesthesiology practitioners toward AI and identify its benefits to healthcare professionals and patients, along with current and future applications of AI.

Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive online survey study was disseminated to physicians who work in anesthesiology practice in Saudi Arabia.

Background: Many cardiac arrest cases are encountered annually worldwide, with poor survival. The use of systemic thrombolysis during cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the treatment of cardiac arrest remains controversial.

Objectives: Evaluate the safety and efficacy of systemic thrombolysis in patients with cardiac arrest due to presumed or confirmed pulmonary embolism or cardiac etiology.

This year's Congress of the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) was hosted virtually from Philadelphia July 17-21, 2021. The conference, now held annually, highlighted cutting-edge advances in basic, population and clinical sciences of relevance to the Society. Despite being held virtually, the 2021 congress was of the same scope and quality as an annual meeting held in person.

We report five cases of malignant pertussis, a rare but life-threatening illness. Current therapies include supportive care and leukoreduction. Notably, leukoreduction might be more effective when initiated prior to the development of organ failure and pulmonary hypertension.

Cobalamin C () deficiency is the most common inborn error of intracellular cobalamin metabolism caused by pathogenic variant(s) in and manifests with methylmalonic acidemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, and hypomethioninemia with a variable age of presentation. Individuals with late-onset may be asymptomatic until manifesting neuropsychiatric symptoms, thromboembolic events, and renal disease. Although hydroxocobalamin provides a foundation for therapy, optimal dose regimen for adult patients has not been systematically evaluated.

Pulse-steroid therapy in a 37-year-old man with acute motor and sensory axonal neuropathy: A case report.

We report a case of 37-year-old man admitted with acute motor and sensory axonal neuropathy (AMSAN) which was treated with pulse-steroid therapy after the plasmapheresis and intravascular immunoglobulin. The improvement of the symptoms of AMSAN after pulse-steroid therapy may represent a therapeutic alternative for this variant of Guillain-Barré syndrome.

The study aims to investigate signs and symptoms of temporomandibular disorders (TMD) among physicians in a tertiary health-care center. It has estimated the level of symptomatology, determined the association with demographic data, and identified the related occupational risk factors. A cross-sectional survey was used, and physicians of genders, all age groups, and nationalities from King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were recruited.
