The mixed dentition stage is a vital period characterized by significant physiological changes, including jaw growth, the development and eruption of permanent teeth, the exfoliation of primary teeth, and the maturation of surrounding soft tissues. These processes collectively ensure functional, esthetic, and stable occlusion. Disruptions during this stage, such as the premature loss of deciduous teeth, can lead to spacing or crowding issues and affect the dental arch length and the position of permanent teeth.

Unlike tremors in neurodegenerative conditions, ET is not observed at rest. Continued research is essential to optimize treatment strategies and address the unmet need for sustainable, patient-centered therapies that minimize side effects and enhance long-term quality of life (QoL) for individuals with ET.

Among healthcare professionals (HCPs), the demanding nature of their work, irregular schedules, and high-stress environments can significantly influence their eating behaviors. This study's objectives were to assess the relationship between cognitive restraint (CR), emotional eating (EE), uncontrolled eating (UE), and body mass index (BMI) and identify the sociodemographic factors associated with CR, EE, and UE among HCPs. A cross-sectional study and a simple random sampling technique were employed.

Seed priming can significantly enhance the tolerance of soybean against different environmental stresses by improving seed water uptake and modulating stress-response mechanisms. In particular, seed priming with sodium carboxymethylcellulose (SCMC) and gum Arabic (GA) can support seeds to withstand extreme conditions better, promoting more consistent germination and robust seedling establishment, which is crucial for achieving stable agricultural yields. The present study investigated the effects of seed priming using a combination of SCMC and GA (10% CG) on the germination, growth, and biochemical responses of six soybean varieties under drought and flooding stress conditions.

Introduction: Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is known to elevate cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk, but the extent to which obesity and IIH-specific factors contribute to this risk is not well understood. WE aim to separate the effects of obesity from IIH-specific factors on the risk of stroke and CVD, building on previous findings that indicate a two-fold increase in cardiovascular events in women with IIH compared to BMI-matched controls.
Methods: An obesity-adjusted risk analysis was conducted using Indirect Standardization based on data from a cohort study by Adderley et al.

Background: Ankle joint position sense (AJPS) accuracy and postural control are crucial for maintaining balance and stability, particularly in individuals with plantar fasciitis who may experience proprioceptive and functional impairments. Understanding how psychosocial factors, such as pain catastrophizing, and biomechanical measures, like muscle strength and gait parameters related to proprioception and postural control, can inform more effective treatment approaches. This study aimed to (1) examine the relationship between AJPS accuracy and biomechanical factors-including postural stability, lower limb muscle strength, and gait parameters-in individuals with plantar fasciitis d (2) analyze the impact of psychosocial factors, including pain catastrophizing, physical activity level, and quality of life, on AJPS accuracy and postural control in this population.
