Tranexamic acid (TXA) is a synthetic antifibrinolytic agent that inhibits plasminogen activation, thereby reducing bleeding. The aim of this systematic review was to investigate its role in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)-a condition indicated by bleeding between two layers of brain tissue-to stop rebleeding and improve patient outcomes. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials from 1981 to 2024, focusing on the efficacy and safety of TXA in treating aneurysmal SAH (PROSPERO registration: CRD42024504834).

Leprosy, a chronic infectious disease caused by complex, remains a significant global health concern despite being curable with multidrug therapy. This can lead to missed opportunities for early intervention, potential disabilities, and increased transmission.

Introduction: Internal iliac artery aneurysms (IIAAs) are an uncommon but clinically significant vascular condition that can lead to life-threatening complications, such as rupture and endoleaks, following endovascular repair. Endoleaks particularly type IIa, occur when there is retrograde flow into the aneurysm sac from collateral vessels, and their presence can jeopardize the success of repair procedures. This case report illustrates a rare occurrence of a type IIa endoleak attributed to retrograde filling from the profunda femoris artery, providing insights into the diagnostic complexities and management of IIAAs.

Background: PPHN is a common cause of neonatal respiratory failure and is still a serious condition and associated with high mortality.
Objectives: To compare the demographic variables, clinical characteristics, and treatment outcomes in neonates with PHHN who underwent ECMO and survived compared to neonates with PHHN who underwent ECMO and died.
Methods: We adhered to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guideline and searched ProQuest, Medline, Embase, PubMed, CINAHL, Wiley online library, Scopus and Nature for studies on the development of PPHN in neonates who underwent ECMO, published from January 1, 2010 to May 31, 2023, with English language restriction.

These skin lesions can lead to eroded and crusted regions after healing, and in some cases, rapid blister rupturing causes extensively eroded areas. Reporting these rare cases is crucial to improving our understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of IBP.

Therefore, it is crucial to dispose of medications properly and store them at home to avoid the consequences.
