Bi2212 superconductors with crystallization treatments at different temperatures were prepared by the Pechini sol-gel method, and their structural, thermal and transport properties were investigated. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) results revealed the high purity and sheet crystal structures of the prepared samples. The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics and process of the Bi2212 superconductor were characterized and analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Jeziorny and Mo methods, respectively.

Tetrabasic lead sulfate (4BS) was used as a positive active material additive for lead-acid batteries, which affirmatively affected the performance of the battery. Herein, tetrabasic lead sulfate was synthesized from scrap lead paste that was formed through the production process of the lead-acid batteries. This solves the disposing problem of the scrap lead paste that is challenging in the production of the lead-acid batteries.

The water spraying itself is a dynamic course, and it is affected not only by structural style of ultrasonic gas atomizer and compressed air pressure, but also by movement of compressed air flow and so on in the atomizer. Here, the main principle of fine droplet formation in the ultrasonic gas atomizer is that the liquid sheet is disrupted into droplets by the energy of the high velocity air. If the ultrasonic energy is supplied, finer droplets with high sphericity and uniform size distribution can be achieved.

The fuzzy degree of lung nodule boundary is the most important cue to judge the lung cancer in CT images. Based on this feature, the paper proposes a novel lung cancer detection method for CT images based on the super-pixels and the level set segmentation methods. In the proposed methods, the super-pixels method is used to segment the lung region and the suspected lung cancer lesion region in the CT image.
