This review was focused on global data analysis and risk factors associated with morbidity and mortality of coronavirus disease 2019 from different countries, including Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Central Eastern Europe, Egypt, India, Iran, Pakistan, and South Asia, Africa, Turkey and UAE. Male showed higher confirmed and death cases compared to females in most of the countries. In addition, the case fatality ratio (CFR) for males was higher than for females.

Background: The improvement of the knowledge, skill, and attitude of nurses working at the intensive care unit (ICU) through implementing training need assessment and holding continuous in-service training courses are of main requisites for providing better health services to the community. Based on this, in the present work, we are looking for the identification and prioritization of the training need of intensive care nurses in the Zabol University of Medical Sciences' hospitals.

Materials And Methods: As a cross-sectional, descriptive study, including two phases of identification and prioritization of training needs of ICU nurses, it was conducted by a close-ended researcher-made questionnaire for collecting the data on training needs from the viewpoint nursing officials, supervisors, and head nurses of the ICU wards in the first phase and a multiple-choice scientific test plus a checklist for measuring the knowledge and skill of the nurses in the ICU in the second phase.

Introduction: Pediatric anxiety disorders are the most common mental health disorders in the middle-childhood age group. The purpose of this study is to assess anxiety disorder symptoms, as defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th edition (DSM-IV), in a large community sample of low socioeconomic level rural children and to investigate some of the psychometric properties (internal consistency, construct and convergent validity and items rated as often or always experienced) of the Malay version of the Spence Children's Anxiety Scale - Child version (SCAS-C).

Introduction: Formalin injection induces nociceptive bahaviour in phase I and II, with a quiescent phase between them. While active inhibitory mechanisms are proposed to be responsible for initiation of interphase, the exact mechanisms which lead to termination of nociceptive response in phase II are not clear yet. Phase II is a consequence of peripheral and central sensitization processes, which can lead to termination of the noxious stimuli responses; 45-60 minutes after formalin injection via possible recruitment of active inhibitory mechanisms which we have investigated in this study.
