We present a method for predicting hyperchaotic time series using a complex network-based forecasting model. We first construct a network from a given time series, which serves as a coarse-grained representation of the underlying attractor. This network facilitates multistep forecasting by capturing the local nonlinearity of the dynamics and offers superior accuracy over more extended periods than traditional methods.

Pharmacologically active small organic molecules derived from natural resources are prominent drug candidates due to their inherent structural diversity. Herein, we explored one such bioactive molecule, niloticin, which is a tirucallane-type triterpenoid isolated from the stem barks of (Wall.) Parker.

This paper studies higher-order interactions in social-ecological networks, which formally represent interactions within the social and ecological units of an ecosystem. Many real-world social ecosystems exhibit not only pairwise interactions but also higher-order interactions among their units. Therefore, the conventional graph-theoretic description of networks falls short of capturing these higher-order interactions due to the inherent limitations of the graph definition.

Artonin E (AA2) and artobiloxanthone (AA3) were extracted and purified from the acetone extract of the stem bark of (Parkinson) Fosberg. Preliminary investigations of both candidates revealed promising cytotoxic effects in oral cancer cells. Moreover, these candidates modulated the expression of pivotal proteins linked to oral cancer progression, eliciting apoptosis through caspase-3 and caspase-9 activation.

The facile fabrication is reported of highly electrochemically active TiCTx MXene/MWCNT (3D/1D)-modified screen-printed carbon electrode (SPE) for the efficient simultaneous electrochemical detection of paracetamol, theophylline, and caffeine in human blood samples. 3D/1D TiCTx MXene/MWCNT nanocomposite was synthesized using microwave irradiation and ultrasonication processes. Then, the TiCTx/MWCNT-modified SPE electrode was fabricated and thoroughly characterized towards its physicochemical and electrochemical properties using XPS, TEM, FESEM, XRD, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and differential pulse voltammetry techniques.

This study conducts a thorough theoretical investigation of Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence (TADF) in phenothiazine-based systems, examining ten molecular configurations recognized experimentally as TADF-active. Employing Time-Dependent Density Functional Theory (TD-DFT), our analysis spans the investigation of singlet-triplet energy gaps (ΔE), spin-orbit coupling, and excitation characteristics using Multiwfn. This approach not only validates the adherence to El Sayed's rule across these systems but also provides a detailed understanding of charge transfer dynamics, as visualized through heat maps.

Anthrophony is an important determinant of habitat quality in the Anthropocene. Acoustic adaptation of birds at lower levels of anthrophony is known. However, threshold anthrophony, beyond which biophony starts decreasing, is less explored.

NF-κB has become a predominant regulator responsible for multiple physiological and pathological processes. NF-κB signaling pathway has canonical and non-canonical components which strategize the cancer-related metabolic processes. Non-canonical NF-κB pathways are known to contribute towards the chemoresistance of cancer cells.

COVID-19 outbreak is the recently reported worldwide pandemic threat. As part of our interventions with machine learning and molecular simulation approaches, we report the inhibitory effect of thirty compounds reported from the sacred plant The predicted activity of the screened ligands are comparable with the one of the present medication, hydroxy chloroquine (HCQ), on the main protease (PDB:6YB7) of SARS-CoV-2. Our studies pointed out the effectiveness of the plant with twenty seven compounds having potential activity against the main protease compared to the reference HCQ.

Purpose: To develop a spatio-temporal approach to accurately unwrap multi-echo gradient-recalled echo phase in the presence of high-field gradients.
Theory And Methods: Using the virtual echo-based Nyquist sampled (VENyS) algorithm, the temporal unwrapping procedure is modified by introduction of one or more virtual echoes between the first lower and the immediate higher echo, so as to reinstate the Nyquist condition at locations with high-field gradients. An iterative extension of the VENyS algorithm maintains spatial continuity by adjusting the phase rotations to make the neighborhood phase differences less than π.
