Unlabelled: Objective : There is an increasing rate of ectopic pregnancy with the use of assisted reproductive techniques. There is currently no serum test to differentiate ectopic pregnancy from miscarriage. Early and accurate detection of ectopic pregnancy may prevent the development of complications.

Objective: To evaluate the significance of umbilical cord chitotriosidase concentrations in pregnancies with mild preeclampsia and explore the relationship between fetal chitotriosidase levels and fetal blood flow velocity.
Method: The study population included control group (n=40) and study group with mild preeclampsia (n=40). Umbilical cord blood samples were collected immediately after delivery.
