The use of pericapsular nerve group block followed by spinal anesthesia for the operative management of pathological fracture in multiple myeloma patient along with proper pre- and postanesthetic care ensures better outcome for the patient.
Abstract: Multiple myeloma is a malignant plasma cell disease that often presents with anemia, renal failure, hyperkalemia and osteolytic bone lesions.
Tuberculous brain abscess (TBA) in a child was initially misdiagnosed as glioma. Two craniotomies, abscess drainage, and anti-tubercular therapy led to recovery. Pontine TBA, though rare and atypical, can have better outcome with timely intervention.

Abstract: Superfetation, occurrence of ovulation, fertilization, and implantation during an ongoing pregnancy and heterotopic pregnancy (HP) simultaneous presence of intrauterine and extrauterine pregnancies are infrequent phenomena. We report a case where both coexisted, challenges in diagnosis and management and association with the widespread use of assisted reproductive technologies (ARTs).

Organizing pneumonia (OP) is one of the rare pulmonary manifestations of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) which is infrequently reported as a presenting manifestation. Early diagnosis of lupus-related OP with the help of imaging, can drive to prompt initiation of immunosuppressive therapy leading to a better prognosis. We present a case of a 34-year-old young male who presented with fever, myalgia, and a dry cough for 1 month and was later diagnosed as SLE-related organizing pneumonia.
