Background: The role of adiponectin (ADIPOQ) in Alzheimer's disease (AD) has been documented, however, demonstrating controversial results. In this study, we investigated blood serum ADIPOQ levels, methylation of the adiponectin gene promoter, and adiponectin receptors (AdipoR1 and AdipoR2) expression in blood samples isolated from AD patients and healthy controls.
Methods: We performed a case-control study including 248 subjects (98 AD patients and 150 healthy controls); ADIPOQ serum levels, AdipoR1, and AdipoR2 levels in PBMC were measured by ELISA Kits, and ADIPOQ gene methylation was analyzed using methyl-specific PCR.

Materials And Methods: The time spent by the general practitioner on all activities was studied by the timing method.
Results: a) general practitioners spend a great part of working time for the documentation and organizational measures; therefore, they spend less time for patients; b) it is necessary to maximally unload the doctor from working with documentation.

The aim of the study was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the objective structured clinical examination (OSCE) in dentistry by analyzing OSCE materials for dentistry students of 4th and 6th years, OSCE results for three academic years, students and examiners questionnaire results. Data were evaluated using methods of the classical test theory (α Cronbach, discrimination index and Pearson correlation coefficient. Aim: This study aims to evaluate the methods of treatment of the thoracic part of oesophagal cancer and to predict the results of treatment depending on the factors of the prognosis.
Materials And Methods: The results of treatment of 366 patients with cancer of the thoracic part of the oesophagus for 10 years (2007-2016) by the department of thoracic oncology of the Karaganda oncological dispensary were studied.
Results: The overall five-year survival rate, regardless of the method of treatment, was only 8.

This study is aimed at studying the morbidity with temporary disability (MTD) of employee working in ore beneficiation at chrysotile production of JSC "Kostanay Minerals" . It was found that the incidence of MTD is higher among male male workers than in men in the control group, and the incidence of MTD in the compared professional groups decreases with an increase in work experience. This is possibly due to the fact that the organism of the trained workers is more stable due to the formation of protective adaptive mechanisms to the current production hazards.
