Melanoma is a relatively rare tumour with tendency to metastasize to the gastrointestinal tract. Metastasis to the intestine constitutes a majority of the gastrointestinal tract melanoma metastases and confers a poor prognosis. While post-mortem studies detect that more than half of the melanoma patients have gastrointestinal tract metastasis, only minority are diagnosed, and even rarer present with intussusception.

Background: Surgical risk in patients after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is determined by conventional scoring systems. However, these risk scores were developed to predict surgical mortality. Due to their insufficient predictive ability in patients after TAVI, novel risk scores are needed to predict long‑term mortality in this population.

Cancer Antigen15-3 (CA15-3) is used as a tumor marker in breast cancer while its value in early stage and in breast cancer subgroups is still controversial. In this study, we aimed to investigate that whether it is or not differences of the serum preoperative CA15-3 levels in early breast cancer subgroups.

Background: To our knowledge, no study so far investigated the importance of post-procedural frontal QRS-T angle f(QRS-T) in ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). The aim of our study was to investigate the role of baseline and post-procedural f(QRS-T) angles for determining high risk STEMI patients, and the success of reperfusion.
Methods: A total of 248 patients with first acute STEMI that underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI) or thrombolytic therapy (TT) between 2013 and 2014 were included in this study.

Aim: To investigate whether mean platelet volume (MPV) is a predictor of variceal bleeding in patients with cirrhotic portal hypertension.
Materials And Methods: This prospective cohort was performed in the internal medicine department of our tertiary care center. Cirrhotic patients were allocated into two groups: Group I consisted of 31 cases without a history of variceal bleeding, whereas group II was made up of 31 patients with a history of variceal bleeding.

Stewart Treves Syndrome is an angiosarcoma generally seen long time after radical mastectomy in breast carcinoma patients in chronic lymphoedema area. It's an angiosarcoma developed on a long standing lymphoedema, following a radical mastectomy. An 86-year-old woman was referred to our Dermatology outpatient clinic which developed a giant erythematous, oedematous, purplish lobulated plaque on her right forearm anteromedially with a few satellite erythematous papulonodules on her arm.

Background: The aims of this retrospective study were to evaluate the maternal and prenatal outcomes between 35 years and older pregnancies and younger pregnancies, and the effects of the age of pregnancy, mother and newborn.
Methods: Pregnant women who gave birth in Vakif Gureba Training and Research Hospital, Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006 were retrospectively screened. Pregnant women aged 35 years and over were included in this study and the pregnant women between age range of 30 - 34 years were included in the control group.
