Purpose: To develop an end-to-end DL model for automated classification of affected territory in DWI of stroke patients.

Materials And Methods: In this retrospective multicenter study, brain DWI studies from January 2017 to April 2020 from Center 1, from June 2020 to December 2020 from Center 2, and from November 2019 to April 2020 from Center 3 were included. Four radiologists labeled images into five classes: anterior cerebral artery (ACA), middle cerebral artery (MCA), posterior circulation (PC), and watershed (WS) regions, as well as normal images.

Our primary aim with this study was to build a patient-level classifier for stroke territory in DWI using AI to facilitate fast triage of stroke to a dedicated stroke center. A retrospective collection of DWI images of 271 and 122 consecutive acute ischemic stroke patients from two centers was carried out. Pretrained MobileNetV2 and EfficientNetB0 architectures were used to classify territorial subtypes as middle cerebral artery, posterior circulation, or watershed infarcts along with normal slices.

Purpose: To build a stroke territory classifier model in DWI by designing the problem as a multiclass segmentation task by defining each stroke territory as distinct segmentation targets and leveraging the guidance of voxel wise dense predictions.

Materials And Methods: Retrospective analysis of DWI images of 218 consecutive acute anterior or posterior ischemic stroke patients examined between January 2017 to April 2020 in a single center was carried out. Each stroke area was defined as distinct segmentation target with different class labels.

Objectives: Mitochondrial open-reading-frame of the twelve S rRNA-c (MOTS-c) is a mitochondrial derived peptide which has beneficial effects on muscle metabolism, insulin sensitivity, weight regulation, and bone mineral density. This study aims to investigate whether serum levels of MOTS-c are altered in patients with preeclampsia.

Material And Methods: This is cross sectional a case-control study of 30 patients with uncomplicated pregnancy, 30 patients with mild preeclampsia and 30 patients with severe preeclampsia that were admitted to the study center between June 2020 and January 2021.

Purpose: The co-occurrence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and obesity are common. Mitochondrial open reading frame of the 12S rRNA-c (MOTS-C) is one of the newly identified mitochondrial derivative peptides that play a role in the regulation of metabolic homeostasis. We aimed to examine the serum levels of MOTS-C to help understand the role of the disease in the pathophysiology, thereby investigating whether it can contribute to the appropriate treatment.

It was aimed to evaluate serum zinc and copper levels and oxidative stress parameters in ectopic pregnancy cases, healthy pregnant women, and healthy non-pregnant women. In this cross-sectional case-control study, 30 patients diagnosed with tubal ectopic pregnancy in the gynecology clinic of a tertiary hospital constituted the study group. A healthy pregnant control group (n = 30) was formed of age, body mass index (BMI), and gestational week-matched subjects, and a healthy non-pregnant control group (n = 30) was formed of age and BMI-matched women.

Objective: To compare the serum level of the chemokine, CXCL 16, in preeclamptic and healthy pregnant patients.

Methods: This prospective case control study was conducted between January and December 2018 in a tertiary level hospital. The study group was formed of 70 pregnant women diagnosed with preeclampsia, and the control group was formed of 70 healthy pregnant women matched to the study group in respect of age, gestational week and body mass index (BMI).

The aim of the present study was to detect the role of G protein-associated estrogen receptor (GPER) 1, corin, raftlin and estrogen in etiopathogenesis of intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR). The present study was designed prospectively between January 2017 and May 2018. The study group included 32 patients with unexplained IUGR and 32 healthy pregnant women who gave birth at term among the patients who referred to obstetrics clinic of a tertiary reference hospital.

BACKGROUND This study aimed to determine the effects of use of a local hemostatic gelatin sponge (GS) on postoperative morbidity in patients undergoing cesarean section (CS). MATERIAL AND METHODS The records of 318 patients who underwent CS surgery were retrospectively evaluated. Group 1 consisted of 59 patients with gelatin sponge (GS) applied, and Group 2 consisted of 259 patients with no GS applied.

Objective: To determine the efficiency of pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) among women scheduled to undergo intracytoplasmic sperm injection who had experienced recurrent in vitro fertilization (IVF) failure.

Methods: The present retrospective cohort study reviewed the medical records of consecutive women who had experienced recurrent IVF failure and had presented at a private IVF facility in Trabzon Province, Turkey, to undergo intracytoplasmic sperm injection between May 1, 2012, and December 31, 2014. Patient data and perinatal outcomes were compared between patients who underwent PGS and those who did not.

Objective: To compare vaginal length and sexual function after total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH), total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH), and vaginal hysterectomy (VH).

Methods: The present cross-sectional study at a single center in Turkey compared vaginal length and sexual function among women who received TLH, TAH, VH, or no surgery (groups 1, 2, 3, and 0, respectively) between January 2011 and April 2014. All women underwent hysterectomy for benign reasons at least 3months before the study and were sexually active.
