The objective of this study was to examine the efficacy of a 5-week, tele-CO-OP intervention in children with organic acidemia. Thirty-four children were randomly divided into intervention and control groups. Calcineurine inhibitors (CNIs) increase the frequency of RTA but the frequency of RTA development in kidney transplant recipients receiving mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitors (mTORi) treatment remains unclear. In this study, we aimed to investigate the frequency of RTA in kidney transplant recipients on mTORi and CNI treatment and to compare both groups.

T102C polymorphism of serotonin-2A receptor gene in Turkish schizophrenia patients: Association with cognitive impairment and soft neurological signs.

Aim: Previous studies have shown an association between the T102C polymorphism of the serotonin-2A receptor gene and schizophrenia. In addition, an association of this polymorphism with clinical phenotypes in schizophrenia such as treatment response and cognitive impairment has been observed.

Predictors of thrombus burden and no-reflow of infarct-related artery in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction: importance of platelet indices.

Preprocedural high-thrombus burden (HTB) of infarct-related artery (IRA) is a harbinger of procedural complications following primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). To describe a case of herpetic keratitis after corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL) with riboflavin and ultraviolet-A for progressive keratoconus. A 31-year-old woman with rapidly progressive keratoconus in the left eye was treated with CXL. Four days postoperatively, a dendritic ulcer developed in the treated eye.
