Recently, arthroscopic anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL) repair has become popular, and favorable outcomes have been reported. In general, ATFL injuries are often caused by fibular attachment, and there are no reports of arthroscopic ligament repair of talar attachment injuries. We present a surgical technique for arthroscopic ligament repair via the anterolateral portal, accessory anterolateral portal, and far accessory anterolateral portal for ATFL injuries on the talar side.

In this work, we developed PolyMap (polyclonal mapping), a high-throughput method for mapping protein-protein interactions. We demonstrated the mapping of thousands of antigen-antibody interactions between diverse antibody libraries isolated from convalescent and vaccinated COVID-19 donors and a set of clinically relevant SARS-CoV-2 spike variants. We identified over 150 antibodies with a variety of distinctive binding patterns toward the antigen variants and found a broader binding profile, including targeting of the Omicron variant, in the antibody repertoires of more recent donors.

The 7085 aluminum alloy with a low Cu content is an important lightweight structural material in the aerospace field due to its advantages of low density, high specific strength, and high hardenability. However, like other high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloys, this alloy is susceptible to stress corrosion cracking (SCC). Additionally, the lower Cu content may increase its tendency toward SCC, potentially impacting the safe use of this alloy.

Background: Ultrashort echo time (UTE) allows imaging of tissues with short relaxation times, but it comes with the expense of long scan times. Magnitude images of UTE magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are widely used in pulmonary imaging due to excellent parenchymal signal, but have insufficient contrast for other anatomical regions of the thorax. We present 4 patient cases describing common challenges in anticoagulation management: inappropriate dosing of direct oral anticoagulants, the diagnosis and management of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, periprocedural anticoagulation management, and heavy menstrual bleeding on anticoagulation.
