This study explores the focusing of an azimuthally polarized laser beam with a double-ring shape as it propagates through a seven-zone Binary Phase Pupil Filtration (BPPF) system with a conventional lens, using the concept of vector diffraction. The key features of the focal region in a five-zone BPPF and a seven-zone BPPF system are analyzed and compared using mathematical findings. The commonly utilized long linear flat-top beam may be created by applying suitable angles to the seven-zone BPPF system for a conventional lens with a numerical aperture of 0.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focused on creating environmentally friendly zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) using leaf extracts from Fioria vitifolia, promoting a sustainable method for nanoparticle production.
  • Characterization techniques such as UV-Vis, FTIR, XRD, TEM, and SEM confirmed the properties of ZnO NPs, revealing their shape, size (average 11 nm), and antibacterial activity against different bacteria, notably showing significant inhibition against E. coli and S. aureus.
  • The synthesized ZnO NPs also displayed antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer properties, with a low toxicity profile observed in zebrafish embryos, indicating their potential for biomedical applications.

The detection of meningioma tumors is the most crucial task compared with other tumors because of their lower pixel intensity. Modern medical platforms require a fully automated system for meningioma detection. Hence, this study proposes a novel and highly efficient hybrid Convolutional neural network (HCNN) classifier to distinguish meningioma brain images from non-meningioma brain images.

This study discusses the relationship between Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and diabetes in women, which has become increasingly prevalent due to changing lifestyles and environmental factors. The characteristic that distinguishes women with PCOS is hyperandrogenism which results from abnormal ovarian or adrenal function, which leads to the overproduction of androgens. Excessive androgens in women increase the risk of Type 2 diabetes (T2D) and insulin resistance (IR).
