Background: Vaginal stents play a crucial role in both non-surgical and surgical management of vaginal agenesis. Different types of stents with variable designs and materials have been described in the literature. However, a summary of various stents described in the existing data and their outcome measures needs to be studied.

Stainless-steel crowns (SSCs) are the most durable restorative option for deciduous teeth, although they are unsightly. However, prefabricated zirconia crowns (ZCs) look more pleasant but require substantial dental preparation. Recently, BioFlx crowns have been introduced as a white-colored alternative to SSCs, providing both flexibility and aesthetics.

Aim The aim of the present study was to evaluate the in vitro comparative assessment of root canal centering ratio and canal transportation associated with ProTaper Universal (PTU) (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), ProTaper Next (PTN) (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland), and ProTaper Gold (PTG) (Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties, Tulsa, OK, USA) rotary file systems, with or without glide-path preparation, using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) analysis. Materials and methods A total of 120 mesial roots of extracted human mandibular first molar teeth were collected and randomly divided into three groups (n = 40) depending on the type of rotary file system used for mesiobuccal root canal instrumentation: Group 1: PTU, Group 2: PTN, and Group 3: PTG rotary file systems. Each group was further divided into two Sub-groups (a and b) with 20 specimens, depending on whether glide-path preparation was performed using the ProGlider (PG) file (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland).

Introduction: Dental implants' efficacy is influenced by the quality and quantity of the osseous tissue present at the site designated for dental implants. Therefore, this study was conducted with the primary objective of assessing marginal bone loss around mandibular posterior dental implants at six and 18 months after prosthesis placement, compared with the contralateral natural tooth. The secondary objective was to determine the correlation between various factors such as periodontal status, age, gender, duration between first and second-stage surgery, and marginal bone loss.

Aim: This systematic review was undertaken to compare the quality of autogenous bone graft harvested from two different mandibular donor sites, that is, from the chin region and from posterior mandibular region for maxillary alveolar ridge augmentation and success after implant placement.
Materials And Methods: Systematic searches were performed using PubMed, MEDLINE, and Cochrane electronic databases, which reported on the quality of autogenous harvested bone graft of the recipient site in maxillary alveolar ridge augmentation from a period of January 1995 to December 2020 using PRISMA guidelines. Studies were included if: They reported on bone grafts harvested from the chin and body region of the mandible.

Aim: This study evaluated effects of various solutions on color stability and surface hardness of a nanohybrid dental composite in simulated oral environments.
Materials And Methods: Sixty-four composite disks were fabricated and randomly allocated into eight groups ( = 8 per group): Artificial saliva (AS), Biotene (B), passion fruit juice (PFJ), orange juice (OJ), Sprite (S), Coca-Cola (CO), apple cider vinegar (ACV), and cranberry juice (CJ). Specimens were immersed in respective solutions at 37°C for 28 days.

Apexification is the process of forming mineralized tissue at the apical portion of a tooth with an incompletely formed root. Although various materials and techniques for the endodontic treatment of such teeth have been employed for some time, selecting the appropriate material remains challenging due to limited literature. This report presents a case that evaluates the efficacy of a modified apexification procedure using mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), followed by a walking-bleach technique to address discoloration resulting from trauma to anterior teeth.

Introduction: The dimensions and morphology of sella turcica (ST) are often altered in individuals with craniofacial anomalies, including those with cleft lip and palate (CLP). Therefore, the review aimed to identify the current evidence on the 3D morphological characteristics of the ST in patients with CLP.
Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted using different databases without language or publication date restrictions.

Background The complex morphology of the root canal system and bacterial infiltration to greater depths precludes complete debridement by mechanical preparation alone. Despite promising characteristics of photodynamic inactivation (PDI) and different photosensitizers (PSs), there has been limited research on the antibacterial efficacy of chitosan (CS)-based PS combinations for root canal disinfection. We aimed to evaluate and compare the antimicrobial efficacy of photoactivated disinfection (PAD) using two different PSs as an adjunct to final irrigation in root canal treatment.

Even with significant advancements in the treatment modalities for patients with heart failure (HF), the rates of morbidity and mortality associated with HF are still high. Various therapeutic interventions, including cardiac resynchronization therapy, Implantable Cardiovascular-Defibrillators, and left ventricular assist devices, are used for HF management. Currently, more research and developments are required to identify different treatment modalities to reduce hospitalization rates and improve the quality of life of patients with HF.

Denture retention in edentulous patients following resection for mucormycosis or carcinoma is challenging because of the lack of bony support. Traditional dentures are often unsatisfactory, and implants require complex bone grafting. This clinical report presents a novel approach using 3-dimensionally (3D) printed intramucosal inserts and a digitally fabricated hollow denture.
