The root-knot nematode (RKN) causes significant yield loss in tomatoes. Understanding the interaction of biocontrol agents (BCAs)-nematicides-soil microbiomes and RKNs is essential for enhancing the efficacy of biocontrol agents and nematicides to curb RKN damage to crops. The present study aimed to evaluate the in vitro effectiveness of BACa and nematicide against RKN and to apply the amplicon sequencing to assess the interaction of Bacillus velezensis (VB7) and Trichoderma koningiopsis (TK) against RKNs.

Background: Cancer is a group of diseases characterized by abnormal cell growth and proliferation. Natural products are a potentially important source for bioactive phytochemicals in the management of cancer, which regulate a broad range of biological events via the modulation of interleukins (ILs), pro- and anti-inflammatory modulators, and other cancer hallmark-mediated signaling pathways.
Purpose: To systematically review the literature to identify in vivo studies investigating the anticancer properties of medicinal plants and natural molecules as modulators of ILs and their related pro- and anti-inflammatory signaling markers in tumor-bearing animals.

The work demonstrates the effective utilization of hybrid Polyurethane - palladium doped zirconium oxide (Pd-ZrO) as innovative carriers for corrosion protection coatings on steel materials. ZrO and Pd-ZrO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using Photodeposition followed by the hydrothermal synthesis method. The synthesized nanoparticles were then incorporated into the polyurethane matrix and characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

A new fluorescent sensor 2-(2-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)hydrazono)-5,5-dimethyl cyclohexane-1,3-dione (A) and 2-(2-(4-chloro-2-nitrophenyl)hydrazono)-5,5-dimethyl cyclohexane-1,3-dione (B) composed of a β-diketones of aryl hydrazones synthesized by simple and cost-effective method. Various analytical tools analyzed the structural investigations of the synthesized substituted β-diketones of aryl hydrazones like FT-IR, H, C NMR and UV-Vis techniques, Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies (SCXRD) (for A), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and fluorescence spectroscopy. SEM also investigates surface morphology modifications of aryl hydrazones and Ni complex.

Background: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease causing severe locomotor disability and deterioration in the quality of life. Existing treatments for RA mainly focus on the use of immunomodulators and the suppression of synovial inflammation, and many have significant side effects. Medicinal plants are regarded as important alternative sources for treating RA.

Fragmented sleep is a daunting experience and a common health problem with high prevalence among patients 3 months after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). However, the potential predictors on poor seep quality remains unexplored. The main purpose of this study was to determine the predictors of poor sleep quality among patients 3 months after CABG.

Background: Asthma, the main inflammatory chronic condition affecting the respiratory system, is characterized by hyperresponsiveness and reversible airway obstruction, recruitment of inflammatory cells and excessive production of mucus. Cytokines as biochemical messengers of immune cells, play an important role in the regulation of allergic inflammatory and infectious airway processes. Essential oils of plant origin are complex mixtures of volatile and semi volatile organic compounds that determine the specific aroma of plants and are categorized by their biological activities.

Background: Trauma is one of the top threats to population health globally. Several prediction models have been developed to supplement clinical judgment in trauma care. Whereas most models have been developed in high-income countries the majority of trauma deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries.

Objective: We evaluated the transferability of prediction models between trauma care contexts in India and the United States and explored updating methods to adjust such models for new contexts.
Study Design And Settings: Using a combination of prospective cohort and registry data from 3,728 patients of Towards Improved Trauma Care Outcomes in India (TITCO) and from 18,756 patients of the US National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), we derived models in one context and validated them in the other, assessing them for discrimination and calibration using systolic blood pressure, heart rate, and Glasgow coma scale as candidate predictors.
Results: Early mortality was 8% in the TITCO and 1-2% in the NTDB samples.
