Background: Acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) is a critical cardiovascular condition requiring timely intervention to restore coronary blood flow and minimize myocardial damage. While percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) remains the gold standard, it is often insufficient for patients with complex coronary anatomy, such as multivessel disease or left main coronary artery involvement. Hybrid coronary revascularization (HCR), which combines PCI and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), offers a novel approach to managing these complex cases.

Obstructive jaundice occurs when an obstruction in the bile duct system prevents bile from flowing from the liver into the intestine, accumulating bilirubin in the blood. This condition can result from various causes, including gallstones, tumors, or inflammation of the bile ducts. The management of obstructive jaundice depends on the underlying cause (malignant obstructions such as cholangiocarcinoma or pancreatic cancer), indicating the need for surgical intervention.

Hence, a high index of suspicion should be maintained by physicians (and oncologists) if patients undergoing B-ALL treatment present with orofacial symptoms and ophthalmological manifestations such as peri-orbital swelling, ophthalmoplegia, and loss of vision, suggestive of infection.
Abstract: Mucormycosis is a severe fungal infection that poses significant mortality and morbidity risks, particularly in immunocompromised individuals.

Necrotizing fasciitis is a severe and potentially life-threatening infection of the soft tissues that involves the skin, subcutaneous fat, fascia, and muscle. It can rapidly spread and lead to tissue death, sepsis, toxic shock syndrome, cardiopulmonary failure, and even death, especially in patients with chronic diseases, immunocompromised status, or immobility. To control the spread of necrosis, prompt diagnosis and aggressive surgical intervention with radical debridement of the affected tissues are essential, along with the administration of broad-spectrum antibiotics and intensive care support, when required.

In this case report, we describe a young male patient who presented with gross hematuria and nephrotic syndrome a few weeks after serologically positive acute hepatitis E virus (HEV) infection. Histopathological examination of renal core biopsy revealed that the majority of the viable glomeruli had a predominantly mesangiopathic process characterized by mild to moderate diffuse increase in mesangial matrix and cellularity with segmental variation. Immunofluorescence microscopy depicted a strong (3+) granular mesangial and capillary loop staining for IgA, consistent with IgA nephropathy (IgAN).
