Lung cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest morbidity and mortality in the world. The low early diagnosis rate and poor prognosis of patients have caused serious social burden. Regular screening of high-risk population by low-dose spiral computed tomography (LDCT) can significantly improve the early diagnosis rate of lung cancer and bring new opportunities for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer.

Background: Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 () mutation status is related to the prognosis and immune microenvironment of glioma. Long non-coding ribonucleic acids (lncRNAs) interact with microRNAs (miRNAs), and play roles in the competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network and tumor progression.

Methods: Data on low-grade glioma (LGG) mutation was acquired from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA).

Background: Breast cancer (BC), especially metastatic BC, is one of the most lethal diseases in women. CA 125 and CA 15-3 are commonly used indicators for diagnosis and prognosis of BC. Some serological indicators, such as lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and C-reactive protein (CRP), can also be used to assess the prognosis and progression in BC.

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognosis effect of PD-L1 in combination with CD8 tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) or HIF-1α in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).

Methods: A total of 63 patients who underwent surgical resection were included in this study. The level of PD-L1, CD8 TIL, and HIF-1α was determined by immunohistochemical analysis.

Glioma is the most common type of primary brain cancer, and the prognosis of most patients with glioma, and particularly that of patients with glioblastoma, is poor. Tumor immunity serves an important role in the development of glioma. However, immunotherapy for glioma has not been completely successful, and thus, comprehensive examination of the immune-related genes (IRGs) of glioma is required.

Background: Microsatellite stable (MSS) or mismatch repair proficient (pMMR) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) is resistant to immune checkpoint inhibitors. However, a recent Japanese trial showed that regorafenib plus nivolumab had encouraging anti-cancer activity in MSS or pMMR mCRCs.

Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the efficacy and safety data of combination therapy with regorafenib plus anti-PD-1 antibody in patients with refractory MSS or pMMR mCRC in the medical centers of Shandong Province in China.

Lung cancer has the highest incidence and mortality rates of all cancers in China. Immune-related genes and immune infiltrating lymphocytes are involved in tumor growth, and in the past decade, immunotherapy has become increasingly important in the treatment of lung cancer. Using the package, differentially expressed genes and immune-related genes (DEIRGs) were identified in patients with lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD).

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) can act as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs), interacting with microRNAs (miRNAs) and playing an important role in tumor progression. However, the role of lncRNA-mediated ceRNAs in glioma remains largely unknown. The present study aimed to identify novel lncRNAs and their associated function in glioma.

Cervical cancer is one of the most common tumors in women. Neutrophils (NEs) and platelets (PLTs) are components of cells in circulating blood. NEs are one of the components of white blood cells (WBCs), accounting for the vast majority of WBCs, recognized as one of the indicators of inflammation.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most prevalent neoplasms worldwide, particularly in China. Immune-related genes (IRGs) and immune infiltrating lymphocytes play specific roles in tumor growth. Considering how important immunotherapy has become for HCC treatment in the past decade, our objective was to establish a prognostic model by screening survival-related IRGs in patients with HCC.

To establish and validate a nomogram for the estimation of overall survival of patients with uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS). Information on patients diagnosed as uLMS was retrospectively retrieved from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database. The patients were randomly assigned into the training and the validation cohorts.

Purpose: Cervical cancer is one of the deadliest tumors among women in China. C-reactive protein (CRP), an indicator of inflammation, and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), an enzyme ubiquitously expressed in cells, both play important roles in tumor growth and metastasis.

Patients And Methods: Based on pre-radiotherapy LDH and CRP median levels, we divided patients into four groups: high LDH and CRP group, high LDH group, high CRP group, and low LDH and CRP group.

Rationale: Erianin, a bioactive component isolated from Dctidrobium chrysotoxum Lindl, was demonstrated to have many biological properties relevant to cancer prevention and therapy. However, the metabolic profiles of erianin remain unknown. This study was carried out to investigate the metabolic profiles of erianin in rats and humans.

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been confirmed to be potential prognostic markers in a variety of cancers and to interact with microRNAs (miRNAs) as competing endogenous RNAs (ceRNAs) to regulate target gene expression. However, the role of lncRNA‑mediated ceRNAs in breast cancer (BC) remains unclear. In the present study, a ceRNA network was generated to explore their role in BC.

Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer mortality in women. Peripheral white blood cell parameters such as neutrophil (NE), eosinophil (EO), basophil (BA), as well as lymphocyte (LY) and monocyte (MO), are correlated with tumor outcomes. In total, 110 cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients were recruited in this study.

Background: Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer mortality in women, which seriously threatens the health of women worldwide. Platelet (PLT)-related parameters, including PLT count, mean platelet volume (MPV), plateletcrit (PCT), and platelet distribution width (PDW), are correlated with tumor prognosis.

Methods: In total, 110 patients with cervical carcinoma were recruited in this study.

Accurate delineation of clinical target volume (CTV) is critical in the effective management of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of esophagus using radiation therapy. Accurate delineation may improve the probability of local control and reduce the risk of complications. However, there are no consistent standards on the proper size of the margins added to the gross tumor volume (GTV).

Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of CT-guided percutaneous chemical ablation in treatment of pelvic hypovascular metastasis.

Methods: Based on a retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 78 patients with pelvic hypovascular metastasis, CT-guided percutaneous chemical ablation was used to directly puncture lesions. The emulsion consisting of ultra-liquid iodized oil, anhydrous ethanol and oxaliplatin in the proportion of 1:2:2 was slowly injected to the lesions, which should be filled to the greatest extent.
