For the postoperative treatment of oocyte carcinoma, CT and CT ultrasonography combined with microscopic intraperitoneal should be combined with peritoneal heat perfusion chemotherapy. The authors selected 50 patients who received treatment for ovarian cancer from 2017 to 2018 and divided them into two groups (observation group, 30 cases, control group, 20 cases). Cisplatin, associated with peritoneal hyperthermia, led the control group, and we monitored all patients for 1 year and provided clinical trials, lifestyle, and results for both disease group.

The rhythm gene (Brain and Muscle ARNT-Like 1) may play an important role in glioma tolerance for anti-angiogenesis therapy. In humans with glioma of different pathological grades, expression was significantly different, and the expression of (Angiopoietin 2) and (Vascular endothelial growth factor) was positively correlated with the expression of . Additionally, expression is positively correlated with the microvascular density and peritumoral edema of glioma.

An iatrogenic bile duct injury (IBDI) is a severe complication that has a great impact on the physical and mental quality of life of the patients, especially for patients with postoperative benign biliary stricture. The effective measures for end-to-end biliary-to-biliary anastomosis intraoperative are essential to prevent the postoperative bile duct stricture, but also a challenge even to the most skilled biliary tract surgeon. A postoperative benign biliary stricture is an extremely intractable complication that occurs following IBDI.

Apoptosis of lens epithelial cells contributed to the formation of age-related cataract (ARC), and previous data revealed that circular RNA (circRNA) was responsible for the underneath mechanism. The study was organized to explore the role of circular RNA erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1 (circ_EPB41) in ultraviolet (UV) irradiation-induced apoptosis of lens epithelial cells.

The present study designed to compare the effect of plasmapheresis (PPH) versus standard treatment (STD) in preventing recurrent AP in Chinese patients with severe hypertriglyceridemia. Chinese patients aged 18 to 65 years who had history of hypertriglyceridemia (>1000mg/dl) induced acute pancreatitis were assigned to plasmapheresis (up to 1.5 ml daily TG level reaches 500 mg/dl or less) or standard treatment (1:1).

Background: The increased consumption of plant-based diets has encouraged studies of bone mineral density (BMD). The present systematic review and meta-analysis compared the effects of plant-based and omnivorous diets on BMD.

Methods: We searched the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, and the Web of Science to July 1, 2020.

Background: Hepatic fibrosis is attributed to an imbalance of extracellular matrix production and lysis. Human hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) have been uncovered to converge through complex interactions with hepatocytes and immune cells, causing scarring in liver damage.

Aims: We aimed to investigate the expression status of ubiquitin specific peptidase 1 (USP1) and its potential mechanisms on HSCs and hepatic fibrosis.

In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of miRNA-429 in the pathogenesis of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC) and the potential mechanism of this procedure. Totally 95 consecutive patients with PDAC diagnosed by pathology were retrospectively collected from June 1st , 2015 to August 30th, 2019 in Department of General Surgery, Jingmen First People's Hospital. The human pancreatic cancer cell line Bxpc-3 and Panc-1 were used and the cell proliferation and migration were detected by MTT assays and Transwell assays, respectively.

Hepatic fibrosis (HF) is involved in aggravated wound-healing response as chronic liver injury. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) carrying microRNA (miR) have been reported as therapeutic targets for liver diseases. In this study, we set out to explore whether adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs)-derived EVs containing miR-150-5p affect the progression of HF.

Objectives: Our goal was to compare the short-term outcomes of Stanford type A aortic dissection (TAAD), during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic with those during normal times and summarize our perioperative management experience of patients with TAAD in the context of COVID-19.

Methods: From 17 January 2020 to 8 March 2020, a total of 27 patients with TAAD were operated on in 8 cardiovascular surgery centres in Hubei Province (COVID-19 group). The data from 91 patients with TAAD from the same centres during the same period last year were extracted from the Hubei Cardiac Surgery Registration System (control group).

Lung mechanics during invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) for both prognostic and therapeutic implications; however, the full trajectory lung mechanics has never been described for novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients requiring IMV. The study aimed to describe the full trajectory of lung mechanics of mechanically ventilated COVID-19 patients. The clinical and ventilator setting that can influence patient-ventilator asynchrony (PVA) and compliance were explored.

D-dimer level is a direct measure of activated coagulation and has been used as a biomarker of hypercoagulability. In this study, we aimed to explore the associations between D-dimer level and the clinicopathological features and prognosis in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients. One hundred seventy-eight patients diagnosed with mCRC from the Department of General Surgery, Jingmen First People's Hospital from September 2014 to December 2018 were collected.

This study was designed to investigate the role of miR-203a-3p in hepatocyte proliferation. Data analysis showed that up-regulation of miR-203a-3p increased the cell viability and cell proliferation, and inhibited apoptosis. Further experiments demonstrated that PTEN was a target gene of miR-203a-3p, and miR-203a-3p targeted PTEN to regulate the above functions.
