Background: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided transhepatic antegrade stone removal (TASR) has been reserved for choledocholithiasis after failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in recent years. The aim of this study was to evaluate the techniques, feasibility, and safety of simplified single-session EUS-TASR for choledocholithiasis in patients with surgically altered anatomy (SAA).
Methods: A retrospective database of patients with SAA and choledocholithiasis from the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China) between August 2020 and February 2023 was performed.

Background: Over the past years, only few cases of follicular lymphoma diagnosed by laparoscopy have been reported in the world. Since follicular lymphoma related ascites often causes occult disease and lacks specific clinical manifestations, it is often difficult to identify the cause by routine laboratory tests and imaging methods. Diagnostic experience is not sufficient and more cases need to be accumulated for further analysis.

Currently, three different types of stents have been extensively applied, including double pigtail plastic stent (PS), fully covered self-expanding metal stent (FCSEMS), and novel lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS). Nonetheless, limited data are available about the comparison among them in terms of their clinical outcomes and safety for endoscopic ultrasound-guided drainage of PFC.
