Background: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)-guided transhepatic antegrade stone removal (TASR) has been reserved for choledocholithiasis after failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in recent years. The aim of this study was to evaluate the techniques, feasibility, and safety of simplified single-session EUS-TASR for choledocholithiasis in patients with surgically altered anatomy (SAA).

Methods: A retrospective database of patients with SAA and choledocholithiasis from the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China) between August 2020 and February 2023 was performed.

The present study aims to reveal the detailed molecular mechanism of microRNA (miR)-802 in the progression of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Objective: We conducted a randomized trial aiming at improving patients' informed consent for undergoing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in clinical care by comparing the efficacy of an additional educational video to written informed consent with that of written informed consent alone.

Methods: This was a single-center, randomized controlled trial. Consecutive patients undergoing ERCP were randomized to a video education or a control group.

Background: Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common chronic non-organic disease of the digestive system. Berberine (BBR) has been used to treat patients with IBS, but the underlying therapeutic mechanism is little understood. We believe that BBR achieves its therapeutic effect on IBS by preventing stress intestinal inflammation and visceral hypersensitivity and reducing bowel motility.

Diagnosis of follicular lymphoma by laparoscopy: A case report.

Background: Over the past years, only few cases of follicular lymphoma diagnosed by laparoscopy have been reported in the world. Since follicular lymphoma related ascites often causes occult disease and lacks specific clinical manifestations, it is often difficult to identify the cause by routine laboratory tests and imaging methods. Diagnostic experience is not sufficient and more cases need to be accumulated for further analysis.

Comparison of three different stents for endoscopic ultrasound-guided drainage of pancreatic fluid collection: A large retrospective study.

Background And Aim: Endoscopic transmural drainage has been recognized as the first-line treatment for pancreatic fluid collection (PFC). Currently, three different types of stents have been extensively applied, including double pigtail plastic stent (PS), fully covered self-expanding metal stent (FCSEMS), and novel lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS). Nonetheless, limited data are available about the comparison among them in terms of their clinical outcomes and safety for endoscopic ultrasound-guided drainage of PFC.
