Homologous recombination defects (HRD) render cells fail to repair DNA double-strand break (DSB), which causes synthetic lethality in these cells with punch by poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors (PARPi). Here, we reveal a receptor tyrosine kinase, AXL, whose inhibition leads to HRD in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells. Methods: The Peptide Innovation for Early Diabetes Treatment (PIONEER) 12 trial was a randomised, double-dummy, active-controlled, parallel-group, Phase IIIa trial conducted over 26 weeks at 90 sites across the China region (including mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong) and five other countries. Adults aged ≥18 years (≥20 years in Taiwan) with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, HbA between 53 and 91 mmol/mol (inclusive) and treated with a stable daily dose of metformin were eligible for inclusion.

Background: Dynamic changes in the fQRS complex between the initial and follow-up ECG in patients with acute pulmonary embolism (APE) have rarely been studied.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the significance of dynamic changes in the fragmented QRS complex in APE patients.

Methods: APE patients (n = 222) were divided into three groups based on their ECG data to determine whether there were dynamic changes in the fQRS complex from admission to follow-up at one month: the fQRS shallower group (n = 49), fQRS deeper group (n = 25) and fQRS unchanged group (n = 148).
