2D carbon nitride nanosheets, exemplified by g-CN, offers significant structural benefits and enhanced photocatalytic activity. Nonetheless, the quantum confinement effect prevalent in nanoscale photocatalysts would result in an enlarged bandgap, potentially restricting the spectral absorption range and impeding improvements in photocatalytic efficiency. Here, a high-performance 2D photocatalyst with an extended spectral response is achieved by incorporating a novel phenol-like structure into the conjugated framework of ultrathin g-CN nanosheet.

State Key Laboratory of Integrated Optoelectronics, College of Electronic Science and Engineering, Jilin University, Changchun 130012, China.

Metal nanoclusters (NCs) hold great promise for expressing multipeak emission based on their well-defined total structure with diverse luminescent centers. Herein, we report the surface motif-dictated triple phosphorescence of Au NCs with dynamic color turning. The deprotonation-triggered isomerization of terminal thiouracils can evolve into a mutual transformation among their hierarchical motifs, thus serving a multipeak-emission expression with good tailoring.

Redundant manipulators are universally employed to save manpower and improve work efficiency in numerous areas. Nevertheless, the redundancy makes the inverse kinematics of manipulators hard to address, thus increasing the difficulty in instructing manipulators to perform a given task. To deal with this problem, an online learning fuzzy echo state network (OLFESN) is proposed in the first place, which is based upon an online learning echo state network and the Takagi-Sugeno-Kang fuzzy inference system (FIS).

As a main carrier mode for the sustainable development of the construction industry in China, prefabricated building may lead to problems such as cost overruns, project delays, and waste of resources due to unreasonable selection of prefabricated components. Therefore, we quantitatively analyze the contribution rate of quality optimization of prefabricated components using QFD-SEM. Under the constraints of prefabrication rate, quality optimization contribution rate, and expected values of various sub-goals, we propose a multi-objective optimization method for prefabricated component combinations based on cost, duration, and carbon emissions.
