By the end of the 2020s, full autonomy in autonomous driving may become commercially viable in certain regions. However, achieving Level 5 autonomy requires crucial collaborations between vehicles and infrastructure, necessitating high-speed data processing and low-latency capabilities. This paper introduces a vehicle tracking algorithm based on roadside LiDAR (light detection and ranging) infrastructure to reduce the latency to 100 ms without compromising the detection accuracy.

Developing high-performance, low-cost, and robust bifunctional electrocatalysts for overall water splitting is extremely indispensable and challenging. It is a promising strategy to couple highly active precious metals with transition metals as efficient electrocatalysts, which can not only effectively reduce the cost of the preparation procedure, but also greatly improve the performance of catalysts through a synergistic effect. Herein, Ru and Ni nanoparticles embedded within nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers (RuNi-NCNFs) are synthesized via a simple electrospinning technology with a subsequent carbonization process.

The influence of elastic deformation and elastic modulus on the release of adhered bacteria was investigated in this paper. Four silicone elastomers (SE) with different elastic moduli and one rigid polystyrene sheet were prepared to verify the antifouling effect of elastic deformation. The SE film has an elastic deformation effect under the stimulus of fluid medium, which makes the surface unstable.

Hydrothermal carbon nanospheres were prepared by introducing opal into the hydrothermal carbonization system of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC). Then the effects of opal on hydrothermal carbonization of HPMC were investigated after different reaction durations (105-240 min). The reaction products were characterized by elemental analysis, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and N adsorption-desorption.

ZnS nanoparticles are grown on reduced graphene oxides (rGO) a simplified one-step hydrothermal method. Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is firstly applied as the binder for ZnS based anodes and shows a more advantageous binding effect than PVDF. To simplify the synthesis procedure, l-cysteine is added as the sulfur source for ZnS and simultaneously as the reducing agent for rGO.
