A photoresponsive therapeutic antibacterial platform was designed and constructed using polydopamine-functionalized selenium nanoparticles as a carrier loaded with indocyanine green (Se@PDA-ICG). The therapeutic platform was confirmed by characterization and the antibacterial activity of Se@PDA-ICG against () and () was investigated. Under 808 nm laser irradiation, the antibacterial rate of Se@PDA-ICG against and was 100% at 125 μg mL.

Porous structure design and the content regulation of heteroelements have been proved to be effective strategies to boost photocatalytic H generation activity of graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) based photocatalyst. Herein, a series of porous graphitic carbon nitride with high concentration of oxygen (g-CN-O) photocatalysts were synthesized polymerization process using colloidal SiO as oxygen source. The content of oxygen within the g-CN-O photocatalysts could be tuned by adjusting the amount of added colloidal SiO during the preparation procedure.

Despite interferon alpha having a broad spectrum of antiviral activity and strong antiproliferative activity, its applications are severely limited due to the intrinsic properties of proteins, such as poor stability and short serum half-life. In our study, canine interferon alpha () gene was fused with the ricin toxin B chain () to form /, which encodes a 463-amino acid protein containing a 15-amino acid encoded (GS) flexible linker. The powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD) technique was used to investigate fourteen kinds of Ranunculaceae herbal decoction pieces(RHDP) recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia and to explore a novel PXRD quality control method for RHDP. The results indicated that only three RHDP-Paeoniae Radix Alba, Paeoniae Radix Rubra, and Moutan Cortex, contained calcium oxalate monodydrate(COM), whereas no COM existed in other eleven kinds of RHDP. The difference in PXRD for Paeoniae Radix Alba and Paeoniae Radix Rubra from different growing areas were investigated.
