Oxytocin infusion dose-response to maintain uterine tone in obese elective cesarean patients: a randomized controlled trial.

Background: For cesarean delivery (CD), the 90% effective dosage (ED90) of oxytocin for a first bolus has been established. It is not yet known how much oxytocin to inject into obese women undergoing elective discectomy to keep their uterine tone (UT) appropriate. We hypothesized that patients who are overweight need a greater dose of oxytocin infusion; thus, we aimed to determine how the dose-response curve for oxytocin infusion changes following an initial 1 international unit (IU) bolus in obese women undergoing elective CD.

Background: The dural puncture epidural (DPE) and the programmed intermittent epidural bolus (PIEB) techniques are recent innovations for labor analgesia. The optimal volume of PIEB during traditional epidural analgesia has been investigated previously but it is unknown whether these findings are applicable to DPE. To explore the application value of multiple disciplinary team Enhanced recovery after surgery (MDT-ERAS) in cesarean section and evaluate its health economic benefits. A total of 572 cases of pregnant women undergoing cesarean section in obstetrics department of Jiaxing Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital from March 2018 to March 2019 were selected and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 286 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional rehabilitation mode, and the experimental group was treated with MDT-ERAS intervention to compare the difference of rehabilitation index and health economics index between the two groups, and to evaluate the application value and health economics benefit of MDT-ERAS.

To investigate the value of dynamic monitoring of cervical canal length by transperineal ultrasonography in the decision-making of the timing of delivery in patients with complete placenta previa, then to provide clinical guidance for complete termination of placenta. A total of 130 patients with complete placenta previa from 28 weeks to 30 weeks of gestation between January 2014 and October 2017 in Jiaxing Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected. There were 66 patients in the experimental group and 64 in the control group, closely monitor the patient's vital signs, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, vaginal bleeding and fetal intrauterine conditions.
