Methods: In this retrospective study, we included 510 patients with coronary heart disease, diabetes, and renal insufficiency who received PCI at the Third People's Hospital of Chengdu from July 2018 to December 2020. Patients were divided into three groups based on their eGFR levels: 113 patients with eGFR ≥ 60 mL/min/1.

Introduction: Visual endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy (V-ERAT) involves a single-use video scope, allowing for real-time visualization of the appendiceal lumen during the procedure to treat uncomplicated acute appendicitis (AA). Methods: We analyzed LSD1 expressions in GBM and normal brain tissues based on data from TCGA and HPA databases. Female BALB/c mouse models bearing xenografts derived from U87 cells or cells with lentivirus-mediated LSD1 silencing or Notch overexpression were treated with saline or 400 µg/kg ORY-1001 by gavage every 7 days, and GBM formation and survival time of the mice were recorded.

Background: In recent years, the research on symptom management in peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients has shifted from a single symptom to symptom clusters and network analysis. This study collected and evaluated unpleasant symptoms in PD patients and explored groups of symptoms that may affect PD patients with a view to higher symptom management.

Methods: The symptoms of PD patients were measured using the modified Dialysis Symptom Index.

Methods: This nested case-control study focused on WWE and their offspring from a female epilepsy cohort in mainland China. From January 2009 to August 2022, WWE was prospectively enrolled in 32 study centers.

Method: A total of 5,239 patients with pathologically confirmed non-small cell lung cancer from 2011 to 2018 in the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were selected. Their inflammatory and nutritional indicators (RDW, PDW, NLR, LMR, NMR, PLR, SII, PNI, TP, ALB, CYRFA21-1, CEA, CA125, NSE, α1-globulin, α2-globulin, β1-globulin, β2-globulin, and γ-globulin) before treatment were collected.

The effect of driving pressure-guided versus conventional mechanical ventilation strategy on pulmonary complications following on-pump cardiac surgery: A randomized clinical trial.

Study Objective: Postoperative pulmonary complications occur frequently and are associated with worse postoperative outcomes in cardiac surgical patients. The advantage of driving pressure-guided ventilation strategy in decreasing pulmonary complications remains to be definitively established. We aimed to investigate the effect of intraoperative driving pressure-guided ventilation strategy compared with conventional lung-protective ventilation on pulmonary complications following on-pump cardiac surgery.
