Royal jelly (RJ) is known for its unique flavor and nutritional value. However, the flavor changes of RJ during storage remain unclear. In this work, the flavor profiles of RJ during storage were evaluated by using headspace solid-phase micro-extraction gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC/MS) combined with both electronic nose and electronic tongue analyses.

Due to the emergence and wide spread of methicillin-resistant , the treatment of this kind of infection becomes more and more difficult. To solve the problem of drug resistance, it is urgent to develop new antibiotics to avoid the most serious situation of no drug available. Three new Ru complexes [Ru (dmob)PMA] (PF6) () [Ru (bpy)PMA] (PF6) () and [Ru (dmb)PMA] (PF6) () (dmob = 4,4'-dimethoxy-2,2'-bipyridine, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, dmb = 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine and PMA = N-(4-(1H-imidazo [4,5-f] [1,10] phenanthrolin-2-yl) -4-methyl-N-(p-tolyl) aniline) were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR and HRMS.

Introducing dynamic covalent bonding into thermoset polymers has received considerable attention because they can repair or recover when damaged, thereby minimizing waste and extending the service life of thermoset polymers. However, most of the yielded dynamic covalent bonds require an extra catalyst, high temperature and high-pressure conditions to trigger their self-healing properties. Herein, we report on a catalyst-free bis-dynamic covalent polymer network containing vinylogous urethane and disulfide bonds.

There are a lot of environmental protection musicals and dances in public entertainment life to support the concept of environmental protection and to entice people to support the cause of environmental protection. As we all know, in a musical performance, the distance between the audience and the actors, the design of the stage environment, the training of the actors, the costumes of the actors, the makeup of the actors, and the musical accompaniment will all have more or less influence on the stage performance effects. In order to make environmental protection music and dance dramas profoundly meaningful to social production and human activities, it is especially important to analyze the stage performance of such music and dance dramas.

Thermal transport plays a key role in the working stability of gallium nitride (GaN) based optoelectronic devices, where doping has been widely employed for practical applications. However, it remains unclear how doping affects thermal transport. In this study, based on first-principles calculations, we studied the doping effect on the thermal transport properties of GaN by substituting Ga with In/Al atoms.

Auxins as an important class of phytohormones play essential roles in plant life cycle; therefore, developing compounds with auxin-like properties for plant growth regulation and weed control applications is of great significance. Herein, we reported the design, synthesis, and herbicidal activity evaluation of a series of novel indole-3-carboxylic acid derivatives as auxin receptor protein TIR1 antagonists. Petri dish herbicidal activity assay demonstrated that most of the as-synthesized target compounds exhibited good-to-excellent inhibition effects (60-97% inhibitory rates) on roots and shoots of both dicotyledonous rape () and monocotyledonous barnyard grass ().

Promising electrochemical sensing platforms can be constructed by two-dimensional (2D) inorganic materials, metal nanoparticles and conducting polymers (CPs) via suitable and effective composite-structural fabrication. Herein, a sandwich-structured composite film was fabricated with MXene (TiCT), PdAu nanoparticles and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS). In the fabrication, PdAu nanoparticles were first loaded on the surface of MXene nanosheets by one-pot method, preventing self-stacking and improving the dispersion of MXene nanosheets.

Alkene-derived radical cations are versatile reactive intermediates and have been widely applied in the construction of complex functionalized molecules and cyclic systems for chemical synthesis. Therefore, the synthetic application of these alkene-derived radical cations represents a powerful and green tool that can be used to achieve the functionalization of alkenes partially because the necessity of stoichiometric external chemical oxidants and/or hazardous reaction conditions is eliminated. This review summarizes the recent advances in the synthetic applications of the electro-/photochemical alkene-derived radical cations, emphasizing the key single-electron oxidation steps of the alkenes, the scope and limitations of the substrates, and the related reaction mechanisms.

Stretchable, adhesive, and conductive hydrogels have been regarded as ideal interfacial materials for seamless and biocompatible integration with the human body. However, existing hydrogels can rarely achieve good mechanical, electrical, and adhesive properties simultaneously, as well as limited patterning/manufacturing techniques posing severe challenges to bioelectronic research and their practical applications. Herein, we develop a stretchable, adhesive, and conductive TiCT-polyacrylic acid hydrogel by a simple pre-crosslinking method followed by successive direct ink writing 3D printing.

Here, we report the fabrication of a dynamic enamine-one bond based vitrimer through amino-yne click chemistry. In contrast to amine-acetoacetate condensation, the amino-yne click reaction yields a dynamic enamine-one motif that is composed of / (3:1) isomers and has a relatively lower activation energy (35 ± 3 kJ/mol vs 59 ± 6 kJ/mol), owing to the absence of a methyl substituent. The resulting vitrimer network has superior mechanical properties and faster dynamic exchange than that of a reference vitrimer derived from amine-acetoacetate condensation, and they are attributed to the fewer network defects and the less sterically hindered exchange reaction, respectively.

We report a facile solvothermal synthesis of novel octahedral CoFeO-reduced graphene oxide (RGO) hybrid and pure CoFeO that were used as heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts for the degradation of organic dyes in water. We investigated the structures, morphologies and catalytic activity of both the CoFeO nanoparticles and CoFeO-RGO hybrids. The morphology of CoFeO nanoparticles displays size-dependent shapes changing from granular (or sheet) to octahedral shapes with the introduction of RGO.

As part of free cellulases or scaffolding proteins in cellulosomes, the hydrophilic non-catalytic X2 module is widely distributed in cellulolytic or other bacteria. Previous biochemical studies suggest that X2 modules might increase the solubility and substrate binding affinity of X2-bearing proteins. However, their biological functions remain elusive.
