Introducing dynamic covalent bonding into thermoset polymers has received considerable attention because they can repair or recover when damaged, thereby minimizing waste and extending the service life of thermoset polymers. However, most of the yielded dynamic covalent bonds require an extra catalyst, high temperature and high-pressure conditions to trigger their self-healing properties. Herein, we report on a catalyst-free bis-dynamic covalent polymer network containing vinylogous urethane and disulfide bonds.

There are a lot of environmental protection musicals and dances in public entertainment life to support the concept of environmental protection and to entice people to support the cause of environmental protection. As we all know, in a musical performance, the distance between the audience and the actors, the design of the stage environment, the training of the actors, the costumes of the actors, the makeup of the actors, and the musical accompaniment will all have more or less influence on the stage performance effects. In order to make environmental protection music and dance dramas profoundly meaningful to social production and human activities, it is especially important to analyze the stage performance of such music and dance dramas.

Key Laboratory for Optoelectronics and Communication of Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi Science Technology Normal University, Nanchang 330038, China.

Thermal transport plays a key role in the working stability of gallium nitride (GaN) based optoelectronic devices, where doping has been widely employed for practical applications. However, it remains unclear how doping affects thermal transport. In this study, based on first-principles calculations, we studied the doping effect on the thermal transport properties of GaN by substituting Ga with In/Al atoms.

Electro-/photocatalytic alkene-derived radical cation chemistry: recent advances in synthetic applications.

Chem Soc Rev

August 2022

Key Laboratory of Jiangxi Province for Persistent Pollutants Control and Resources Recycle, Nanchang Hangkong University, Nanchang 330063, China.

Alkene-derived radical cations are versatile reactive intermediates and have been widely applied in the construction of complex functionalized molecules and cyclic systems for chemical synthesis. Therefore, the synthetic application of these alkene-derived radical cations represents a powerful and green tool that can be used to achieve the functionalization of alkenes partially because the necessity of stoichiometric external chemical oxidants and/or hazardous reaction conditions is eliminated. This review summarizes the recent advances in the synthetic applications of the electro-/photochemical alkene-derived radical cations, emphasizing the key single-electron oxidation steps of the alkenes, the scope and limitations of the substrates, and the related reaction mechanisms.

Dynamic Enamine-one Bond Based Vitrimer via Amino-yne Click Reaction.

ACS Macro Lett

October 2021

Department of Chemical Engineering, Stanford University, Stanford, California 94305, United States.

Here, we report the fabrication of a dynamic enamine-one bond based vitrimer through amino-yne click chemistry. In contrast to amine-acetoacetate condensation, the amino-yne click reaction yields a dynamic enamine-one motif that is composed of / (3:1) isomers and has a relatively lower activation energy (35 ± 3 kJ/mol vs 59 ± 6 kJ/mol), owing to the absence of a methyl substituent. The resulting vitrimer network has superior mechanical properties and faster dynamic exchange than that of a reference vitrimer derived from amine-acetoacetate condensation, and they are attributed to the fewer network defects and the less sterically hindered exchange reaction, respectively.
