Fungal microbes are a small but immunoreactive component of the human microbiome, which may influence cancer development, progression and therapeutic response. Immunosenescence is a process of immune dysfunction that occurs with aging, including lymphoid organ remodeling, contributing to alterations in the immune system in the elderly, which plays a critical role in many aspects of cancer. There is evidence for the interactions between fungi and immunosenescence in potentially regulating cancer progression and remodeling the tumor microenvironment (TME).

Drug resistance is a critical impediment to efficient therapy of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients. Recent studies have highlighted the association between ferroptosis and drug resistance that has been reported. Fatty acid synthase (FASN) is always related to a poor prognosis.

Hypoxia is a critical factor contributing to a poor prognosis and challenging glioma therapy. Previous studies have indicated that hypoxia drives M2 polarization of macrophages and promotes cancer progression in various solid tumors. However, the more complex and diverse mechanisms underlying this process remain to be elucidated.

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate patient survival and factors associated with survival in second primary non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) compared with the first primary NHL.
Methods: The retrospective cohort study used data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database between 2000 and 2014. Demographic characteristics, histological types, Ann Arbor stage, and treatment information were collected.

Objective: Explore the efficacy of decitabine combined with homoharringtonine + cytarabine + granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (HAG) in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
Patients And Methods: A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 125 patients with AML was done. Of them, 61 patients received a simple HAG treatment (HAG group), and 64 received decitabine combined with an HAG regimen (combined group).

Ursolic acid (UA), a pentacyclic triterpenoid, exhibits various pharmacological actions, such as anti-inflammation, anti-tumor, anti-diabetes, heart protection, and liver protection. However, the role of nuclear factor E2-related factor 2 (NRF2)-mediated regulation of uridine diphosphate glucuronosyltransferase (UGT2B7) and bile salt export pump (BSEP)/multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (MRP2) in UA against cholestatic liver injury has not been cleared. The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of UA on cholestatic liver injury and its potential mechanism.

Progesterone and adiponectin receptor 3 (PAQR3) has been found to regulate tumor progression by mediating cell ferroptosis. However, whether PAQR3 mediates ferroptosis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) needs further investigation. The mRNA and protein levels of PAQR3 and low-density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) were assessed by qRT-PCR and WB assays.
