Most synchronous malignancies reported include carcinomas and adenocarcinomas of the gastrointestinal tract, head and neck cancers, thyroid and breast cancers. Among the neuroendocrine tumors, carcinoid tumors in the duodenum or the esophagus are most commonly reported with other primary malignancies.
