The SARS-CoV-2 virus, which induces an acute respiratory illness commonly referred to as COVID-19, had been designated as a pandemic by the World Health Organization due to its highly infectious nature and the associated public health risks it poses globally. Identifying the critical factors for predicting mortality is essential for improving patient therapy. Unlike other data types, such as computed tomography scans, x-radiation, and ultrasounds, basic blood test results are widely accessible and can aid in predicting mortality.

The present research work investigates the impact of natural and anthropogenic inputs on the chemistry and quality of the groundwater in the Beenaganj-Chachura block of Madhya Pradesh, India. A total of 50 groundwater samples were examined for nitrates, fluoride, chlorides, total dissolved solids, calcium, magnesium, pH, total hardness, and conductivity, and their impact on entropy-weighted water quality index and pollution index of groundwater (PIG) was investigated via the response surface methodology (RSM) using the central composite design. According to analytical findings, Ca, Mg, Cl, SO, and NO exceed the desired limit and permitted limit set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Formamidinium lead iodide (FAPbI) is the most promising perovskite material for producing efficient perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Here, we develop a facile method to obtain an α-phase FAPbI layer with passivated grain boundaries and weakened non-radiative recombination. For this aim, during the FAPbI fabrication process, cetrimonium bromide + 5% potassium thiocyanate (CTABr + 5% KSCN) vapor post-treatment is introduced to remove non-perovskite phases in the FAPbI layer.

This research study uses Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) to predict occupational accidents in Sivakasi firework industries. Atmospheric temperature, pressure and humidity are the causes of explosion during chemical mixing, drying, and pellet making. The Proposed ANN model predicts the accidents and the session of accidents (FN/AN) based on atmospheric conditions.

In this communication, we describe the Homotopy Perturbation Method with Laplace Transform (LT-HPM), which is used to solve the Lane-Emden type differential equations. It's very difficult to solve numerically the Lane-Emden types of the differential equation. Here we implemented this method for two linear homogeneous, two linear nonhomogeneous, and four nonlinear homogeneous Lane-Emden type differential equations and use their appropriate comparisons with exact solutions.

Signal processing-based algorithms for identification of coding sequences (CDS) in eukaryotes are non-data driven and exploit the presence of three-base periodicity in these regions for their detection. Three-base periodicity is commonly detected using short time Fourier transform (STFT) that uses a window function of fixed length. As the length of the protein coding and noncoding regions varies widely, the identification accuracy of STFT-based algorithms is poor.
