Hayai-Annotation, an annotation tool powered by the R-shinydashboard browser interface, implements a workflow that integrates sequence alignment using DIAMOND against UniProtKB Plants and ortholog inference using OrthoLoger. We here propose a pipeline to explore genome evolution and adaptation from a different perspective, by creating a network considering orthologs and gene ontology as nodes, with edges based on the annotation for each gene. This approach aims to improve the visualization of conserved biological processes and functions, highlight species-specific adaptations, and enhance the ability to infer the functions of uncharacterized genes by comparing edge patterns across species.

This study investigates the use of an organic photoredox catalyst to facilitate a unimolecular PCET process for the generation of alkyl radicals from benzylic alcohols, with a particular focus on alcohols containing electron-rich arene units. Methods: The 20-gauge and 21-gauge straight tips with yellow and orange sleeves, respectively, were covered by a test chamber combined with a pressure sensor for measuring ACP. This was measured for 20s from 10s after starting aspiration in the linear mode using vacuum levels of 200 and 150 mm Hg with a 20-gauge tip, and 300 and 250 mm Hg with a 21-gauge tip.

There is a large gap between the performances indicated by rotating disk electrode (RDE) results in acidic media and the actual performances obtained in membrane-electrode assemblies (MEAs) composed of the same electrocatalysts.
