Pathological unstable dislocation of shoulder secondary to septic arthritis: A case report.

Introduction: Pathological unstable dislocation of the glenohumeral joint following septic arthritis is a rare condition. We report a case of 40 years old patient with pathological shoulder dislocation secondary to septic arthritis.

Case Presentation: A 40 years old male patient presented to the Department of Orthopedics with chief complain of swelling and pain of Right upper extremity for 6 days.

Worm infestation as a cause of severe anemia in a frail older adult: a case report.

Introduction: Worm infestations are a common occurrence in low-income countries. Anemia due to iron deficiency can be brought on by human intestinal worms. The authors report a case of an 86-year-old frail older adult with upper gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding caused by a worm infestation most likely to be hookworm.

Pregnancy outcomes in women with gestational hypertension and preeclampsia at Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital, Nepal: A retrospective study.

Introduction: Gestational hypertension and preeclampsia are the most common types of hypertensive disorder in pregnancy and these conditions are associated with adverse maternal and fetal outcomes. This study aims to determine the differences in pregnancy outcomes in women with gestational hypertension and preeclampsia.

Epidermoid Cyst of the Ear Lobule in Adult.

An epidermoid cyst is one of the most common benign cysts of the skin. The cyst is filled with keratin flakes and its wall is composed of keratinized, stratified, squamous epithelium. Epidermoid cysts can occur anywhere on the body, usually along the lines of embryonic fusion and mostly on the face, scalp, neck, chest, and upper back.

A Systematic Review of Neurological Manifestations of COVID-19.

The coronavirus can infect the upper respiratory tract, sinuses, and nose, and its severity manifests in its respiratory symptoms and neurological and psychological consequences. The majority of people who have COVID-19 present with moderate flu-like illness, and patients who are elderly with comorbid conditions, such as hypertension and diabetes, are more prone to experience severe illness and death. However, in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, neurological consequences have become a substantial source of morbidity and mortality.

Dilated sigmoid colon with Chilaiditi's sign mimicking diaphragmatic hernia: A case report.

Introduction: Chilaiditi's sign is a rare radiological presentation characterized by colonic interposition between the diaphragm and liver which is usually confused with conditions such as diaphragmatic hernia, pneumoperitoneum and subdiaphragmatic abscess.

Case Presentation: We report a case of 55 year old male presenting with abdominal pain since a year which was associated with abdominal fullness, loss of appetite and constipation. Further investigations showed us as a case of diaphragmatic hernia but intra operatively it was found to be Dilated sigmoid colon with Chilaiditi's sign.

Incidence and Risk Factors of Pre-Eclampsia in the Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital, Nepal: A Retrospective Study.

This study aims to determine the incidence of pre-eclampsia and distribution of risk factors of pre-eclampsia at Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital, Kathmandu, Nepal. A retrospective study included 4820 pregnant women from 17 September to 18 December 2017. Data were obtained from the medical records of the hospital's Statistics Department.

Laparoscopic management of double gallbladder.

Double gall bladder is a rare congenital anomaly and is challenging to the surgeons due to increased risk of post-operative complications. We present a case of double gall bladder that was successfully managed laparoscopically. Preoperative ultrasonography showed one vesicle of the gall bladder had thick wall with multiple calculi while the other had normal thickness without calculus.

Radiological techniques in the diagnosis of strangulating small bowel obstruction.

Early detection of signs of strangulation in case of acute small bowel obstruction is critical because it mandates an operation. Therefore the role of different radiological techniques used for diagnosing strangulating small bowel obstruction has been discussed here. Strangulation remains a major problem in patients with acute small bowel obstruction.
