Background: The literature on patient-reported outcomes (PROs) discussing dorsal preservation rhinoplasty (DPR) and component dorsal hump reduction (CDHR) is scarce. This study aims to fill the gap in PROs between these techniques.

Methods: A systematic review was conducted to investigate PROs of DPR and CDHR.

Malignant Hypercalcemia: A Rare Etiology of Posterior Reversible Encephalopathy Syndrome.

Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a rare and severe neurotoxic encephalopathic state characterized by variable neurologic manifestations ranging from headache and confusion to seizures, coma, and reversible subcortical vasogenic edema on imaging. PRES is commonly induced by chronic renal failure, hypertension, chemotherapeutic drugs, and eclampsia. PRES induced by hypercalcemia is uncommon and not widely underlined in the literature.

Clinical manifestation, management and prognosis of clear cell meningioma: an evidence-based review.

Clear cell meningioma (CCM) is an uncommon histologic subtype of meningioma classified as a WHO grade II tumor and accounting for less than 1% of all meningiomas. Demographically, younger patients are commonly affected without any remarkable gender preference. Moreover, CCM shows a unique anatomical site of involvement.

Association of Hypertension and Hypercholesterolemia in Patients with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus.

The present cross-sectional analytical study was carried out to observe blood pressure and serum total cholesterol in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus. This observational study was carried out in the department of Physiology, Mymensingh Medical College, Mymensingh, Bangladesh from January 2016 to December 2016. For this purpose, 200 subjects of both sexes and age ranged from 30-60 years were selected; among them 100 were type-2 diabetic person and 100 were apparently healthy.
