Objective: This study aimed to compare efficacy, safety, and immunogenicity of the biosimilar ranibizumab in comparison with the Innovator Ranibizumab in treatment-naive patients with neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (nAMD or wAMD).

Materials And Methods: This comparative, double blind, multicentre, Phase III clinical study randomized eligible patients in a 3:1 ratio to receive either OPTIMAB (Alkem Laboratories Ltd./ Enzene Biosciences Ltd.

Outcome of manual small incision cataract surgery in patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma.

Purpose: The study aimed to analyze the surgical outcome of manual small incision cataract surgery (MSICS) in patients with pseudoexfoliation syndrome (PXF) and pseudoexfoliation glaucoma (PXG) and compare them with those of controls.

Settings And Design: This prospective, observational, and comparative study included 150 cases of PXF with cataracts, 150 cases of PXG with cataracts, and 200 cases of cataracts without PXF as controls.

Methods: MSICS was performed in all cases under peribulbar anesthesia.

Purpose: To evaluate outcomes of anterior chamber intraocular lens (ACIOL) implantation with vitrectomy in eyes with surgical or traumatic aphakia, and subluxated or dislocated lens.

Methods: In this retrospective study, we evaluated patients who underwent pars plans vitrectomy with ACIOL implantation from April 2016 to March 2019. Patients with minimum follow-up period of 1 year and operated by single surgeon were included.

Long-term results of a single injection of intravitreal dexamethasone as initial therapy in diabetic macular edema.

Purpose: To evaluate the long-term safety and efficacy of the intravitreal dexamethasone implant in the treatment of diabetic macular edema (DME) as initial therapy.

Methods: A hospital-based prospective, non-comparative case study of recently detected DME patients was conducted between July 2016 and December 2017, in which30 eyes of 30 patients were studied. Presenting vision, age, gender, duration of diabetes, general and ocular examination, intraocular pressure, indirect ophthalmoscopy, fundus fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and blood sugar levels were noted.
